  1. Not fair to judge wins and losses until after the season when you have new coaches and new qbs. I'm thinking if the team keeps playing like this, they have about 4 more wins in them. If they improve and get better, hopefully that gets them more wins. But right now they look like a 6-10 team that needs experience to get better.
  2. We will probably get an update at 1 or 130 at the presser
  3. I puts lot of blame on hacket in the earlier games, but today's game I wouldn't call him a problem. Worst thing about today's offense was the receivers dropping so many balls and Thad hanging on the ball too long. Otherwise, they did well against a pretty good defense. This was the defense that broke Brady's td record. Then on defense, so many missed tackles. Missed takles everywhere.... I wouldn't blame coaches today. We are starting a lot of young players who look good, but clearly need experience
  4. Easly should be in over Hogan . I like Hogan as like a 5th or 6th qb, but easly should have played over him. Too bad no Stevie today. And we gotta get the running backs more involved in the passing game. Seems like we only throw to them behind the LOS.
  5. Needs a lot of depth, younger guys need more experience, need a guard, better gameplan on offense, and some good luck and good health.
  6. I dunno. He seems like a number 1 to me, even though he isn't a dominant player. But an argument can be made thatbhe is the best WR in the arc east right now.
  7. It seems obvious to me how they reached that conclusion
  8. Can't stay healthy yet he always plays.
  9. That too. Schiano was more of a problem than Freeman, but imo, Tampa needed them both gone to move forward. They have a ton of talent. But freeman isn't what you want. He has terrible work ethic and he won't work hard to learn the offense quickly like he should. Plus he is limited talent wise.
  10. His situation wasn't that bad. He had a good oline, 2 stud receivers and a good run game.
  11. from being in tampa, I wouldn't take freeman. Dixon and Kafka would have been my first two choices. The pat white thing is bizarre. He is basically a Brad Smith who can't catch.
  12. They spent plenty of money at the backup qb position. Even made some trades. Lack of spending isn't the problem here
  13. His floor seems fair. He doesn't look like a gabbert type. If he is a bust, he would be a josh freeman type bust
  14. I wouldn't call it bad qb play yet. Right now I would just call it rookie qbing. But regardless of the article, the scheme is part of the problem. I think qb play will get better and the scheme will be adjusted. I think we are stuck with crappy guard play until next year though
  15. I thought nothing good could come from this thread, then I read this post. Totally worth it, I say.
  16. Harriston can't do much at LT from the IR. Good news is that it is easier to find a guard than an LT, so it can't be that hard to find one better than what we have
  17. Agreed. Unfortunately we face a lot of good defenses this year. It will be good experience for him though
  18. Sad that it came from the onion. it really looks like bleacher report stuff.
  19. on Graag: Makes Lee Smith look like Scott Chandler haha and: More like Doug Le-Worst-sky other than that, the headline was the best part
  20. The only player they should have kept was rhinehart. Levitre got way overpaid. And for coaching, I am not worried about that. We have a good oline coach and it is a specialty of marrone's. All they need is to stablize the guard position and the line will be fine
  21. Now it is all about being good in October and November...... then the wheels fall off again in December. Either way, team is a mess. I like EJ so far. He isn't winning us the games, but he isn't losing them for us either. As long as he continues to develop, we will have a good QB and have a chance at a decent future. Can't guarentee anything, but so far so good as far he goes.
  22. Jacoby Jones will be watching from the sideline
  23. That was odd
  24. Its not a bad philosophy for an established team, but it might be giving us a few speedbumps. We aren't good enough to just plug in a player we have been developing and expect little drop off.
