  1. i agree they are both good, but def not great. and their hieght seems to be an issue as well, but greer def stepped up to the plate and played WAY better than webster. all in all, it is not one of our weaker points at the moment. and with james, like the guy above said, will be a good help for depth and the taller recievers
  2. true. that is one thing i don't miss in ny. but i do miss good pizza and chicken wings
  3. and i was thinking it had to do with the weather and the beaches
  4. http://www.patsfans.com/new-england-patrio...ead.php?t=53357 most of them put evans as the best WR in the afc east, and some go as far as saying he is in the top 5 in the leauge
  5. we knew they would re-sign him. we just didn't know when. if the bills sign brown as well, the two of them should be a pretty decent team.
  6. i would thing it would be safer to go with DT RB CB LB but i am thinking they are going to go more with DT CB RB LB I think that they are putting a lot of trust in the o-line and will concentrate mostly on defense in the draft. they seemed to have ignored the defense in FA, so i assume they are saving it for the draft. ppl keep saying that marv has a strick up his sleeve about the RB situation, well i think we already saw "it." With him building the o-line, that was his trick. After the o-line was fixed, he prolly felt we could do better than last year with an RB like A-train. I can't see anything else that could be considered a "trick" for the RB situation. I can't picture them grabbing an RB in the first round. The defense hasn't been touched yet in the offseason. I doubt they will ignore it anymore. I think the offense will do much better than last year with the A-train as the RB. Losman and Evans seem to e able to hold their own the 2nd half of the season, and they should do better with the o-line. An RB isn;t as essential as a need as it seems. i think the whole RB situation was done on the thought of a good o-line with a-train can do better than A bad o-line with mcgahee. That was the "trick." But they need to draft an RB as a back-up for sure. and prolly sign another as a back up later
  7. yeah, that wasn't bad. good stuff
  8. one of my friends who works for the patriots says that around there it is common knowledge that he pops caffiene pills before games to wild him up a bit, and that was one of the causes of his heartattack not too long ago. just thought id say it. he was tellin me last night during the game.
  9. they don't NEED the draft to get guards and DTs. They can get them in FA as well. I think that if they get at least one good guard in FA and use the first pick on a DT, they can draft this guy 2nd, and use the rest of their picks on the two lines and whatever else they need. but there really is no way to tell who their picks are going to be until they go through FA. i hope they make out better than last time though.
  10. oh, i have no idea. all i knew was that it took him out of the game. i doubt we would draft a WR in the first round though, and if we did, i doubt he would be a starter quickly. Evans aside, our WRs aren't top notch, but they are not what i would call a problem.
  11. i hope not a WR, especially and injured one at that.
  12. wow... i am sure this is the last time he will post. he "can't resist"
  13. i tried looking for it but no luck yet. if i find it i will post it though. i don't think anyone put it on youtube yet, so im searching others for it
  14. being a poor college stuent in FL makes it hard . when i lived up there i was able to make it to buffalo 4 times a season. but now i only go to NY in the summer. but i will be back in a year and a half and won't miss a game! by then hopefully the bills will be really good and i will have to fight for tickets. and believe me, i will fight for them
  15. might need three or four offensive line to protect that one. and he might still need some roller blades to help him get away from those defenses
  16. it worked for me. it is a joey harinton photo with a moving mouth and a sound byte with him (from some one else) rambling rapid fire.
  17. the thing i like most about those numbers is the amount of tunrovers has gotten lower. that was his biggest problem at the start of the season
  18. the team wasn't playing well then, but have gotten better since. they have grown since the begining of the season. the whole team, and not just JP
  19. Although there were a lot of mistakes made, one thing that did improve is how they play in the red zone. Usually they have no problem making it to the endzone, but screw it up when they get there. This game they improved well in that area.
