What we "know" is plenty of speculation. It has been brought up a million times the past several years that the playcalling has been more than questionable. Even when mularky was here and he called a fleaflicker on the goal line all the way through turks rush, rush, pass, punt routine. The playcalling has been the most questioned aspect of this team.

If we do trade him, it shouldn't be anything less than a 1st rounder. But I say we keep him.

It was a pretty bland presser. We brought him in to score a lot of TDs, OR entertain us at pressers. he hasn't done either. bastard. Anyway, what he said in the begining doesn't mean he is going through the motions. He is just saying things differently to avoid trouble. He is playing it safe. But I think the best part was when he complimented the Defense. It seemed very genuine. It is refreshing to hear he likes something about the team, and I honestly feel that he likes our defense. It is just refreshing, just because his frustrated look makes it seem like he REALLY is not happy to be on this team. So, maybe he is still hopefull that there is a chance to take this team somwhere.

Kelsays improvement seems to be a direct result of sanders coaching. Makes you wonder how great we would be with good coaches all around.

probably more TO and LE rather than lynch and jackson. Miami has a great run defense, but a terrible pass defense.

I don't think they are asking Byrd to "hurry up" though...... I mean, what makes you think they are rushing him to grow up? what makes it seem like we "need" this guy to grow up faster than the others? I mean, we are fine at saftey. Not great. but we are fine. If we "need" anyone to grow up faster, it is maybin to help with the pass rush. Saftey is not the worst spot on the team. The worst spots were the oline and the pass rush, and THAT is where we need rookies to grow up fast because they are being thrown to the wolves. Byrd is like any other rookie right now. He isn't being rushed, and this team doesn't need him to be a star right away. not even mckelvin, our number 1 pick last year, didn't start playing until injuries occured. Byrd wont see much playing time at all on defense unless there is an injury or until after the bye week.

I don't think that is the case. Yes, we are starting two rookie guards and a young OL in general. but we are not "starting" Byrd. He barely plays outside special teams. He is a smart kid. I don't think doing homework is an issue with him. I think he just needs to get used to professional football, and that takes time. It is like Maybin. Sure, he is playing. but he is starting. Their early development isn't critical like it is for wood and leveitre.

He isn't getting signed anytime soon.

I don't think that is possible. isn't he like 50 Tds away from it? he would have to be in the league another 5 years, and make 10 tds a year. doesn't seem very likely

I think most people were thinking that the guy that hit jackson to force the fumble was supposed to be blocked by roscoe in the first place. So if roscoe didn't miss his block, their might not have been a fumble in the first place. Roscoe was quick. And if i remember correctly, edwards caught up to them toward the end too.l
