Well, one is going to assume he is going to be depth for tackles we draft. I don't think there were any really qualifying Tackles in FA that we could really go after. And with the injuries we get, depth is more important than usual.

Yeah, about half those players are already signed or re-signed. Chambers would be a good short term fill for a hole at reciever, and should be pretty affordable.

I think there will be either an LT or a QB there. All the teams that need a QB also need a LT. I am thinking there is a good chance at least one of them falls to us. I mean, I can't see three OTs and 2 QBs going with the first 8 picks when there are 2 elite DTs in there as well. I am sure someone is going to fall to us.

He wasn't saying his prediction was written in stone. It was just a prediction. We know predictions are almost blind this time of year. But everyone makes them. People are already predicting who is going to win the next superbowl. There is nothing wrong with making a prediction. Calm down.

If that is how it turns out, I wouldn't mind taking either Clausen or Dan Williams with the 9th pick. No trading up though, at least trading up from our 1st pick. That is ridiculous. Trading down is questionable. Kinda hard to tell where the players will end up. If we trade down and both clausen and williams are before we pick, that would kinda suck.

Well, that is bascially the same oline we had last year for awhile, with the exception of a "stud LT." Most people believe that we need two tackles, and I would agree. I don't like playing musical chairs with linemen. It never lets them mesh together, which is really important for an oline. If we juggle Levitre to RT, and wood to C, it is just going to jumble it more. That didn't work last year, and it won't work this year. And as far as the QB and WR situation.... no one said that we aren't going to address those. but going into next year with basically the same oline as last year doesn't seem wise.
