  1. You didn't notice when he adjusted the offense to the wildcat and edwards was sidelined? You didn't notice when the bills switched to the no huddle mid drive? The offense sucked a billion, but there were in-game adjustments. This offense looked nothing like jauron's, even though the results still sucked. Since Gailey tried so many different things, hopefully he knows what works better now and will use it. It sucks we started against miami, which is VERY strong against the run. If we were up against a team that wasn't so strong against it, the run game would have been more effective. And if we had a better line.
  2. forget him being a building block, he was always too old for that. That real issue is he isn't even a good stop gap player. The only hope we have is he might get better when the line jells some more.... but I have a better chance of winning the lottery than he does at improving to an acceptable level. We def need an RT more than we need an LT now.
  3. I am thinkin it is going to be more like GB 28 and bills....3. The defense and special teams look acceptable. Our only hope is that gailey can make adjustments on that offense to make it at least acceptable. If we just got 1 or 2 more 1st downs to put us in field goal range, things would have been different. That offense couldn't get it right though.
  4. I don't know anyone who called gailey a "super offensive genius," but I am glad that he is there instead of jauron and co. I am loving that parrish is getting involved, nelson seems to be a nice find, and the no-huddle drive looked pretty nice. What sucks is, Edwards is below average still, our tackles are a joke, and as a whole, the offense hasn't gotten a rhythm. But man, that defense looks great. Even the linebackers looked good and maybin put on some pressure that actually impacted some plays. I know long was hampered by injury, but still... nice feat by the defense to get some pressure. And awesome with the secondary not letting marshall score. He was fighting hard to be his best and they kept him in check. That offense though.... the offense needs another offseason of fixing at least to be bearable. We def need a new QB and new tackles. And we should probably run the ball more. Though I liked that chan threw it more, because the phins secondary seems weaker than their d-line. But we really need to try to run the thing more. our wildcat looked good until the stupid ass penalties screwed that drive up. If we can rid those mistakes, our wildcat could be a dangerous weapon this season.
  5. That was the coaches that wanted to do it as part of his rehab. They both need to be replaced though. Green is probably easier to replace, just because LTs are harder to find than RTs... but we at least need one of them upgraded. Bell could potentially get better (he looks better than last year), buut.... it is pretty important position to just hope he gets better.
  6. I like the idea of the thread, but it did seem like the first quotes were just copied from the commerical used whenever you view a video on bb.com. The thread just needs quotes that are not in that video to help it out. things like "you dog one of us, you dog all of us" type stuff.
  7. I was gonna say 2.5 for the year...
  8. like you said, he never said "lose." That is a word you threw in there youself. The chin never said that. You can still have a winning season and not make the playoffs, btw.
  9. they apparently didn't see us last year. That was pretty bad.
  10. people surprise ya sometimes.
  11. I am picking the bills, but I am too poor to risk money on it.
  12. A win against a division rival in week one sure would be sweeet!
  13. Is that Wang in that video? nm, he is chinese, not japanese.
  14. YOU are the one that isn't comprehending. NO ONE HERE SAID THEY WERE WORRIED You are putting words in peoples' mouths. Where in the first post did he say he was worried at all? He didn't. He was talking about a injury of an elite LT. If anyone is worried, it is the phins and Henne because one of their biggest strengths could become their biggest weakness. If you want to badger worried people, then go badger the phins fans. They are the ones that should be worried, no doubt.
  15. Really? If you look on the phins message boards right now, they are taking notes that we have 2 CBs that didn't practice yesterday. I guess they have no confidence either . Injuries are a pretty big factor and are talked about each week.... you must be new to football.
  16. By big numbers, I am sure he means sacks, interceptions, missed throws, check downs, and broken bones. go bills! Nice though that there are some players that pay respect to our team. Ill take it. I am hopin we have at least a decent year. Stranger things have happened.
  17. let's just hope that what he is saying is true and he plays well this season. I admit, I jumped on the Trent Band Wagon after that 4th game when we went 4-0..... of course, my feelings were shattered into a million pieces that season.
  18. I was one that really wanted to keep lynch, because of injuries and we are for sure going to run the ball a lot. But With Bell on the practice squad and him just being awesome during preseason, I really wouldn't mind trading lynch for a low 2nd rounder or a high 3rd rounder at this point. Though I wouldn't advocate it. I just wouldn't complain about it.
  19. I think Kyle Williams has a lot of trade value for a 4-3 team. He is a playmaker, young, and overall a solid player who isn't overpaid.
  20. This is the one I probably agree with the most. Yeah, but inteceptions don't mean anything. I mean, Byrd had how many last year? And you aren't sold on him, so I guess there is some other think to measure DBs by your standard to show they the "real deal." Because it looks like byrd, intception monster and ROTY candidate doesn't seem to be the real deal to you... so lord knows who is.
  21. No. I would have rather just kept TO instead.
  22. Well, he is a new coach.... so of course he is going to be compared to the person who he replaced. Just like how this team will be compared to last years team. It is how you discuss where the team is heading (up or down). And it is quite obvious why there isn't more depth on this team as far as the oline goes. This team had, and has, a lot of needs that they couldn't address every issue. They did address a lot of needs this offseason, so I don't believe they sat on their hands and did nothing. I don't know why you aren't looking at the big picture. There is more things that are needed than the oline, which was heavily addressed LAST year. But really, people ragged on Jauron a lot because they were so annoyed that he would say things like "they play hard and they are a good group." That pretty much meant they wouldn't get better. Gailey calling them out pretty much means that he is going to make them play harder. So, you might not like that a coach is going to get the players to play better, but some of us are happy about it.
  23. i don't think bills fans are in denial with trent. We know he sucks and has sucked for awhile. Now we are just praying to the football gods that Gaily makes him at least doable and that CJ spillar carries the offense into the promise land.
  24. Right now, hardy easy. And that new tight end, except we need another tight end until we get the other 2 back. but Hardy needs to go. 3 years in the league and you can't even tell the guy is on the field, meanwhile other recievers that are younger are learning faster than he is. But yeah, I think it is stupid to cut rookies right away beause they suck. It is different if you are planning on putting them on PS or something.... but who really expects rookies to be awesome? give me a break. Levi Brown, and UFA, looked about as good as brohm. Cut either brohm or fitz. Don't matter either way, they both suck the same for different reasons.
  25. The other problem with nelson is that, he is suspended for four games to begin with.
