The network just aired, "It was a horseshxx rule" on TV... It was a player or coach on the sidelines.
When will the networks learn that a 5 second delay is a good thing?
CW
Not quite yet. Eagles have two timeouts. They need to hold the Pats here though. If they get really lucky, one of the plays will be an incomplete pass.
CW
Just watch them kick the ball off deep
No more stupid than their lack of a hurry up with 5+ minutes left.
EDIT: At least they really (tried) to kick onside. Although it was a sad kick.

My wife and I liked the "Stop smoking" commercial. Touching.
Did you see the Dairy Queen shrimp commercial? That one was GREAT, but not sure if it was local or not.
CW
I watched the game in HD last year (using my projector against a wall in my dining room) and it was amazing... The fact that you can see SOOO much more of the field is worth it in and of itself.
I can't wait to watch the Bills win the Superbowl in HD next year.
CW
I think those were all local commercials, except for Nascar. I saw an Arby's commercial, a Menards commercial... Don't remember what else, but no beer and no idea what Cobalt is.
CW
I've seen that play at least 3-4 times today.
EDIT: Ok, the Pats tried running that play twice in a row and the Eagles covered the short slant the first time (allowing the 12 yard slant further down instead...)
CW
Play Devil's advocate -- maybe Milloy was trying to plant some seeds of doubt in the Patriots players to bust the team up... Ok, I'm usually a glass half full kinda guy
CW
I thought the deodorent commercial ("Mama's boy") was fitting for this thread, especailly when the mom doll says, "Come on, do you want to get yourself kidnapped???"
CW
Can't figure out why the refs didn't blow the whistle for forward progress on the fumble though. The guy was facing the wrong way with three guys on him and they didn't blow the whistle.
Overall, the refs are calling an interesting game -- not calling much of anything. I guess they're just letting 'em play.
