  1. And we go full circle Thanks for (trying) to clarify, although I'm still not quite sure I get your logic. CW
  2. Sure glad people here know how to read.... If you can't follow the basic tenet of the thread (no "That will never happen!" threadkill comments), then don't post at all. Sometimes I think the avearage IQ of this board is about 10. CW
  3. See, I guess that's the part I just don't get. People like you who said, "Anyone but Bledsoe because Drew can't win the big games and can't get us to the playoffs and can't win a Superbowl!" Well, if he does that in Dallas, doesn't that prove that he CAN do it, and COULD have done it here? This will be especially compounded if we flounder with JPL. I just don't understand the "Anyone is better than Bledsoe" comments, followed by, "Hey, if he wins in Dallas, that's fine, as long as he's not here!" CW
  4. I didn't; just one.
  5. Let's just assume that, in fantasy-land, Bledsoe takes the Cowboys to an 11-5 record and a playoff berth. Regardless of what the Bills do, what will people here start saying about Bledsoe/Dallas? I'm not saying this will definately happen by any stretch of the imagination. I'm just wondering what people like Steve, Rico, etc, etc, will start saying about Bledsoe if the Cowboys have a good/great season next year. Please, no "That will never happen!" threadkill comments. CW PS: Yes AD, I'm aware of the irony of starting a DB post after saying I havn't started a DB thread.
  6. I'm not the one starting 100 threads on the topic. Now leave me alone Mr. 15,000+ posts CW
  7. The bb.com site is notoriously slow with updates. I'd think that the ESPN wire would have it though... CW
  8. Say what you want, but he DID win with Willis... 9-3. CW
  9. Article says Bledsoe was officially released today, and that the Cowboys have all but signed him. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=1997585 CW
  10. Let's see... #2 defense in the league... Returning (at worst) 10 of 11 starters... Let's get more defense! CW
  11. Yes, recently most are CW
  12. Except for the fact that the book didn't work for teams this year once we put a back in there who could chip the blitzer. As soon as WM got in the game, teams stopped blitzing on every down. With WM as a starter, Bledsoe was sacked just as (in)frequently as Brady. I hope Bledsoe does well, although maybe not too well or we'll look like idiots (especially if the Cowboys go 10-6 and we go 6-10.... ). CW
  13. WGR is the same station that announced Marvin Lewis was our head coach and that Doug Flutie was being kept and RJ was being released. CW
  14. King is contradicting himself. He says Bledsoe isn't a candidate for the Hall, yet puts him at #30, right behind the 29 other QBs who ARE in the hall... And by saying "between 30 and 50" that still puts him right up there in HoF consideration. He then goes on to say that Bledsoe isn't that good. Does King even know what the hell he's talking about anymore? CW
  15. I didn't say I'm not buying any girlscout cookies at all! But if it's a choice between a cookie I can get any day at the grocery store, or a cookie I can only get once a year from the girl scouts, why the heck would I buy the one I can get any time? CW
  16. The problem with thin mints is they're exactly the same as Keebler Grasshoppers. http://i2.peapod.com/c/HG/HGZYT.jpg So why bother buying them from the Girl Scouts? I like the coconut ones with chocolate. CW
  17. I wish I could find the link I posted awhile ago that had a flash animation "movie" on posting rules. It'd be appropriate here. Oh, and I spent most of last night trying to get a DVD menu to work with a motion background. The software was being very finicky CW
  18. Wow, what an original thought. That hasn't been discussed at ALL around here ever before! You're amazing! CW
  19. I'd rather see Gale Gilbert at #3... He's been to 5 straight Superbowls, he knows what it takes! CW
  20. Sorry, you can't pin this on Bledsoe. Reed's had the ball thrown to him and dropped on MANY occasions. Remember the 31-0 game against the Patriots? Reed was WIDE OPEN by the endzone and dropped the ball. I think that was the beginning of the end, as he continuously dropped balls after that. It'd be one thing if he wasn't getting anything thrown to him, but that's not the case; he's just not catching what is thrown to him. CW
  21. I'm almost done converting the Bills/Vikings 2002 game to DVD and I must say Josh Reed was an awesome receiver that day. What the heck happened to him? The guy had 8 catches for 110 yards and a TD. He also had an AMAZING catch late in the 4th quarter where he bobbled the ball and then hauled it in to help Hollis get in position for "The Kick." He looked so promising, and now he can't catch a cold. What happened?! http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/live/NFL_20020915_BUF@MIN CW
  22. Good, because they probably have higher quality video available than I do Then again, this Comeback DVD is probably just the special that they ran on NFL Network where they showed a bunch of plays but had a bunch of interviews and such as well. It was a good presentation, but not as good as watching the real game itself. CW
  23. http://www.hiltonhacked.com/book.html Of course, she doesn't know Fabio so she's nowhere near as cool as our very own LA CW
  24. NFL Network aired all of the preseason games last year, and a few were even broadcast live every week (the Bills/Broncos was one of them). CW
