  1. I'm sure this is of interest to at least one person.... http://www.cnn.com/2005/TECH/science/02/23...reut/index.html CW
  2. (mutters) burn the place down.... http://www.thinkgeek.com/cubegoodies/toys/61b7/ Congrats Pooj! CW
  3. Everybody in Minnesota would agree with you. CW
  4. I stand corrected -- I forgot that TH was still in there. Also, it was 3rd and 2. Still, 3rd and 2 and you should get more than -1 yards. CW
  5. Perhaps you forgot about Mould's fumble on the ~5 yard line? No fumble, and the game's different He didn't have a good game, but if WM gains one yard on the previous play (3rd and short), we're not put into the situation. Also, if I remember correctly everyone came unblocked. A sack (and turnover on downs) would've obviously been better, but a team doesn't have the momentum when they don't convert on 3rd and 1 and need to go for it on 4th. This one's been beaten to death. Oh, here we go again with the "true fan" crap. Look, I'm a huge Bills fan; however, I also don't think we'll even sniff the playoffs this year. We have Losman as the #1, and nobody as the #2 or #3! Losman has shown that he's very VERY reckless and runs around all the time, both in preseason and in very limited regular season action. I'm hopeful that he'll become a QB first and an RB second, but he hasn't shown that yet. Combine that with (literally) no depth, and I"m worried. This may change depending on who get as a #2 down the road, or if JPL can show in preseason that he will indeed pass the ball more often than not. But until then, I'm not confident about our chances either. I'll still watch/root, but I'm very apprehensive. I still believe that our best bet would've been with one more year for DB and myabe do like the jets used to do and put JPL in for a drive or two from time to time as a changeup. But that didn't happen, so we have to see how the season unfolds. CW
  6. Check out NBC, the second half of the All-Star game is on (http://www.nll.com). Buffalo has a team and probably quite a few representatives (the Bandits are pretty good). It's not on in Minnesota because someone at NBC screwed up It's a very cool sport to watch (especially in person). Check it out for a few minutes if you have some time. The game ends at 3pm CST (4pm EST). CW
  7. My understanding is that "person of interest" is not the same thing as "suspect." A "person of interest" could be a witness, someone who knows the suspect, etc, not necessarily the person who carried out the crime. CW
  8. Actually, yes. I wouldn't use AOL if they paid me to. CW
  9. He uses AOL, need you know more? CW
  10. Well, I can grill burgers, does that count? And I've fried up chicken breasts and put them on a bun... That's about the extent of it though Gonna give me some pointers at the opener? CW
  11. Actually, when my wife cooks, the temperature does usually get above 70 in the house. So that's my secret reason for keeping it low - so she cooks more! CW
  12. I like *eating* good food, but can't prepare it myself. That's what my wife's for. All of the recipes that I've submitted are really hers. And she's making a nice dinner tonight too; going to buy some fresh seafood and make some sort of cream sauce to pour on pasta (sorta like seafood pasta alfredo). Not sure what else, but I can't wait. EDIT: Hmm, after re-reading it, "that's what my wife's for" probably didn't come out quite right... I didn't mean it like that, just meant that without her I'd be eating an awful lot of sandwiches in my life. For those who don't know what we're talking about, here's a link to the TBD/TSW Cookbook: http://www.twobillsdrive.com/cookbook/ We apprecaite any and all recipes that people want to submit. Also remember to rate the recipes that you try. Two of my favorites are the crab filled wontons and the artichoke dip! CW

  14. Hmm, I cook just like a restaurant... CW
  15. I tried frying some eggs a few nights ago... The first 4 were burnt to a crisp. The next three got mutilated. The last 3 were burnt and halfway edible but it didn't taste good... So for me, that's not easy CW
  16. You havn't seen me cook, have you...? CW
  17. Didn't you hear, Lent ended yesterday. You're clear! CW
  18. BW3 is hardly the same quality as any wings you can get in WNY I do go there every now and then, but it's just not quite the same. *sigh* CW
  19. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: That was a jealousy :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: BTW... I wnat some wings.... CW
  20. You're assuming that he won't break his leg in training camp again, right? CW
  21. Interesting stuff on Fowler's past: http://www.startribune.com/stories/510/5250584.html (http://www.bugmenot.com if you don't have a login) This was especially interesting:
  22. He signed the purchase agreement, but it's not finalized. I still believe (as do most reporters/fans in Minnesota) that the guy won't pass muster and the deal will be off. Most people here want Glen Taylor (owner of the NBA T'Wolves) to buy the team. If the deal with Fowler falls through, that'll probably happen. The rumor is that McCombs is just using Fowler to increase Taylor's bid. CW
  23. If they don't sell the team, they'll probably stay well under the cap. The owner (Red McCombs) is a jerk and doesn't like spending money on the team. CW
  24. Heh, that's pretty funny CW
  25. He was responsible for Moulds' fumble on the 5 yard line against the Jags as well. Damn him. CW
