I just wanted to give a big THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the fundraiser! I just sent a check for $150 to Campy (and that doesn't include payments that people made to him directly). I'm surprised that nobody's mentioned Darryl Talley as part of the all-time ugly list. EDIT: Either plenzmd1 added his Talley comment after the fact, or I'm blind. I vote the latter... CW

Hey, I was at that game too! (and I've only been to Rich/RWS four times in my life). That game was cool because people were starting to get bored and losing interest in the 4th quarter. I started a "we want a shutout" chant in my section. Had to go to school after that game too CW

I thought that the Monday night matchups were already set and that Buffalo didn't get any? Maybe it was only a subset of them, not sure... I went to the Bills/Bengals Monday night game in the early 90s, and it was great. Didn't get home until around 3 or 4am, but my parents made me go to school the next morning. Needless to say, I don't remember anything that happened that Tuesday. Made things better that Buffalo won -- Kelly looked terrible in the 1st half, but came back and rallied in the 2nd. CW

I disagree -- I think the jury did the right thing. The prosecution, on the other hand, botched it badly IMHO, not to mention all of the mistakes that the police made during the investigation. Nobody was drinking the koolaid; the prosecution didn't do its job. CW

Yeah, except it WAS known that his family had a couple of medical emergencies, yet people still roasted him. I was one of the people telling people to assess how THEY would perform on the job if their family membesr were in the hospital with serious problems. The story I heard, however, was his grandmother, not his father. As for the financial advisor part -- just because you hear it at the rookie symposium, doesn't mean you're immune to it. You never know who to trust when you have that much cash. Someone may seem on the up and up, but may not be. CW

What do you mean "down to?" I wouldn't consider Damon's one of the good places to eat in WNY personally... MAYBE it ranked at number 1,501, in which case "down to" could be apt. CW

Yes it is. And even with those staggering attempts, he still has less INTs than half of the rest of them. He's nowhere near as bad as everyone is trying to make him out to be. CW

Didn't say that. But you claimed that Bledsoe is the worst pure QB compared to anyone in the HoF, and the stats don't back up your assessment. Bradshaw, for example, threw well more INTs than he did TDs, and his completion percentage is 50%! CW

I really liked Grudge; there were some of the "sudden flashes for a scare" moments, but I thought it was creepy in other ways. The noises that the kid made were VERY creepy - my wife wanted to leave the theater after about 20 minutes of the movie because she was scared. CW
