No, it was directly from the RedSox, not from a fan. Unless fans can give tickets back and the Sox re-sell them themselves? I don't know, but the billing was directly to the Sox and I just looked up the order confirmation email as well. (and tickets were $28, not $25). And there were a ton of seats to choose from when I ordered. To see if it was a fluke, I just went to RedSox.com, selected the May 6th game against the Twins, and there are $28 bleacher seats available to purchase right now... And I was one of those BU kids - it was graduation week, and I went there on vacation to get my masters degree.

I went to RedSox.com and bought tickets for a game this past May... Paid like $25/each for outfield on the first base side (is that right field? Shows how much I know about baseball), 3-4 rows up from the field (on an aisle too!). There were a ton of seats available, and I bought outfield only because I didn't want to pay a couple hundred bucks for infield seats.

Define success. Bledsoe led the Bills to a 9-7 (and 8-8) record. BenJarvis Green Ellis just had a 1000+ yard rushing season in Cincy and helped them into the playoffs. I'm sure there are more, those are just the ones I remember off the top of my head. Now if you mean dominant player who wins a Superbowl, you may be right. But that's true for most teams. Except Buffalo (see: Whitner).

Highlighted the part I agree with 1000%. "We looked over the tapes, nothing incriminating on them, and they've now been destroyed" just doesn't make sense. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't, but does it matter? The fact is he IS doing a lot of good now. Compare that to Steve Jobs who, even until his dying breath, was all about himself, crushing everyone else, and it didn't matter how or why.

If the game is blacked out in your area, you can't get it on the Ticket either. (that's an NFL thing ).

Fixed your post. Sunday Ticket used to have all non-national games. Then the local networks complained to the NFL, saying that people were watching games on Sunday Ticket when they should be watching the local channels -- eating into the local revenue stream -- so the NFL forced DirecTV to black out games on the ST channels if they were being aired locally.

You can already do that with DirecTV, and that's roughly the price if I remember correctly. However at $30/game, it makes more sense to spend $200 for every game (to me, anyway).

I hope the Patriots were reading this.
