What If Iran Kidnapped Your Pet?
molson_golden2002 replied to molson_golden2002's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
And along the way we added drugs, seals, oil, Bush and my ass hole dog. "We were biting this morning, we were biting this morning" -

I just say no! -
I don't think it matters where the ship was, the Iranians shouldn't have taken those men hostage. Its international piracy. If this was retaliation for the U.S. taking Iranian diplomats in Iraq then the Iranians should have said that, and it still doesn't justify this. If Iran feels wronged they should take their case to UN or start an international outcry or something.

The event? Women's volleyball! And I thought we took sports too seriously in this country http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/6510735.stm 'Witnesses say about 300 fans fought using clubs, knives and stones.'

No, I think you should go and see the Iranians for the high ticket prices. And when you don't come back maybe we can have us a war about it Club sandwiches, not seals! -
First off, FDA finds Canadian company was poising our pets! ieatcrayon will love that! http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D8...;show_article=1 And this story made me think of that a-hole I was driving behind yesterday who had a bumper sticker reading: 'Can't find your cat? Look under my tire" http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-pets...-home-headlines If you think of Rover and Fluffy as members of the family, you may figure you could collect damages for pain and suffering if they were to die as a result of wrongdoing. The law in California and many other states sees things differently. It treats pets as personal property, just like cars and computers. But that could be changing. ____________________________________ Is this going too far with animal rights? What if Iran kidnapps your dog? Should we go to war?

Me too! Not only that, but I wished they took a hell of a lot more than just 15. I wish they took a couple thousand Americans hostage! And then gave them the same treatment those Iraqis got in that Abu place. Butt pyramids galore, all over the tv news, then we would have to start murdering Iranians, and murdering them wholesale. Hopefully our thousands of hostages--perferably healthy young boys and girls between the ages of 16-22--would then be put to death on Iranian tv. We could really go all out then! I'm been prayer for other horrible things, like terror attacks, hurricanes, accidents that kill thousands that we can blame on those dern old Iranians. God has not answered my prayers yet, but there is still time.

Ya, the President joking about the mission he sent men to die for, and were actually still dying for. Dildo O'Reilly had the mother of a soldier on who died that day looking for WMD. Dildo was of course scorning here. Gotta love the right wing, their leaders, their propagandists and all. Did you laugh at the joke? -

And the military isn't something that can capriciously used. I signed up because I had trust in the civilian leadership to use our lives responsibly. They are not being used that way now, IMO. To simply say, "Well, they signed up, that's it," isn't much of an argument to me -

1) No one is surprised you don't "get" something. You are an incredible little piss-ant moron 2) No one is claiming mission accomplished, we are claiming that Iraqis are responsible for Iraq. Please site where liberals, leftist or whoever are claiming "mission accomplished." 3) The left's mantra??? How about a solid majority of Americans who want us out of there? How about American troops who defend America, not nation build in some place where it can't be done? How stupid are you? -

Yes, exactly, and us staying there 10 more years won't change a damn thing. Time to cut and run now. The BS argument that the whole region will blow up if we leave is garbage. Even Saudi Arabia is calling on us to leave now. They sound really afraid! -

Bravo to the Senate! As to this Conservative Revolution, I think its already been beaten back into its little corner. It will never die, and maybe its good it doesn't, but it will be back in another form. David Brooks has an interesting op-ed in the Times today about the future of Conservatism. He argues that the small government platform is a real loser politically and they need to evolve. Conservatives evolving! LOL. Anyway: http://select.nytimes.com/2007/03/29/opinion/29brooks.html -

Do you read any of these columnists?
molson_golden2002 replied to erynthered's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I like all them, and E.J. Dion. The Washington Post generally has pretty good op-ed writes. Samualson is really good on economics. I actually liked George Will before. He wrote a great review of the book "a Brief History of Nearly Everything," that made me go out and buy it. Great book, BTW. http://www.amazon.com/gp/reader/0767908171 -
