What will McCain do if Palin performs as badly as she has done in interviews during the debate? An hour and a half of her babbling out incoherent nonsense will be pretty damaging to the campaign, focus a ton of negative media attention on her and give comedians more material than they can possibly use in a years time. Maybe she will do better, but seeing what I have so far, I doubt it

And the media storm that followed Palin was more negative because, well, it should of been.

Or is McCain's campaing just so fokked up that the media coverage just reflects reality? Seems to me the internet and other relatively new media outlets are playing a bigger role in this election and pushing the TV networks to cover this election differently.

If I was answering for him, I'd say it was things that helped business operate efficiently and with as little hassle as possible. An educated work force, modern infrastructure and cheap utilities

As far as I can tell this is what's going on. This needs to happen. Bush and Congressional Dems are ready to go but angry Conservatives just can't back down from their anti-government ideology to try and help America. All those decades of anti-government propaganda had an impact, obvioulsy. Hopefully the Dems will pass it themselves, but getting bipartisn support would be better, if you ask me.

However, unloading the tanks is likely to be beyond the capacity of the pirates or the insurgents, experts said. According to Andrew Mwangura, the program coordinator of the Seafarers’ Assistance Program in Kenya, the ship was carrying around 30 T-72 battle tanks, which were going to be offloaded in Mombasa, Kenya. “These pirates are getting bolder ever day,” said Mr. Mwangura, whose organization tracks pirate attacks. “They are now going to use these weapons as a bargaining chip.”
