My point is that we can't control the world no matter who the president is so we shouldn't expect Obama to be able to.

Obama should take action like Bush did against Russia when they invaded Georgia! I'm glad we had his steady hand on the lever of power then to stop Russ...to say tough things to Russia.

We are not talking about Obama, but representation in Congress and the GOP now has none from New England in the House. It sure looks like a trend to me, not just this election but the 2006 one as well. The point is, the GOP must either moderate its message to be more inclusive or slink back to its southern stronghold and live there and only there. Sure, it will start to swing back somewhat, but with the changing demographics in the country it might only half-swing back.

I loved the show casing of a Northern city. Chicago looked beautiful! Buffalo...ummmmm.....YES WE CAN!!! Who knows?

I know I've said some bad things about him but he is a good man and would have been an ok president. Too bad for our country he couldn't have won in 2000, when the Republican party refused to allow his name on the ballot in the primary. He sure would have been better than what we got. His speech last night was really nice. I wish him well

Really? I was watching them around 6 and they seemed to be cushening the flock for defeat. Four years ago they were real good on election night.
