  1. why is is it when i ready posts like this i feel like im dropping I.Q. points? lol
  2. It gets alittle overwelming about halfway through , but it sounds just like him...lol.
  3. was just thumbn through some sites and ran across this. i know its a spoof but i never laughed so hard. i was having flashbacks of emitt trying to explain things on t.v. lol http://www.walterfootball.com/draft2010emmitt.php enjoy!
  4. See i dont understand this. everyone thinks bradford is frail and injury prone. in fact he was healthly and took plenty of hits up until last year. all it took was a blind side hit from a corner to sprain his shoulder. then like 3 weeks later decided to come back early(probably wasnt ready) and they went gunning for him. drilled him and his shoulder right into the dirt. any qb would have gone out with that hit. but in retrospect he shouldnt have tried to come back so soon. but he was not injury prone or fragile by any means.
  5. If i remember right ,i believe brohm ran all 4 years with a spread offense at louiville. but i could be wrong.
  6. i dont think its grasping the nfl play books as much as it is just greenbays . i was talking with a friend that knows players from there. there play book is complicated, even more so than grudens 10000 word cadence calls, lol. it may have just taken him longer to memorize all that crap. i think if given the opertunity to go after the starting gig this year. dont be surprised if he steps up. in college the coaches called alot of the plays acording to defensive alignments. in the nfl u have to be able to adjust on the fly, so we w jus have to wait and see how it pans out. but i loved watchn him throw in college.
  7. I hope he does well, i realy liked this kid in college.
  8. Im courious to why half the board thinks like this? there r alot of qb's in this class that have put up monster numbers every year, were 4 years starters, and were in consideration for the heisman. And always had thier teams in the top 25, well barring notre dames lame ass defense screwing things up...lol. now me ,i think that is pretty good. especially 4 one draft. each has thier issues. and the later qbs in the draft have similar numbers to previous qbs picks in rnds 2-4 from years past. so i just dont get all the bashing?
  9. i dont think it has to do with the guys they have as qb's. i think it has to do with the fact those teams r paying a high salary for them. why would they spend more high dollars on another qb that may need a year or two to sit and learn. i could easily see them passing on claussen just for that reason.
  10. welcome by the way...always good to meet new fans.
  11. lmao, nice response! i dont respond or post much just because of these very posts....lol
  12. hey , has anyone heard from 'nevergiveup' as to anything he has heard.? if it indeed is our club involved and not someone else?
  13. thats a trade i would do in a heart beat!
  14. when i look at players like this, i think they will all get picked up by teams after the draft. very few scouts will get the time to scout these players. they usually refer guys that play in larger confrences and div. a club my reach ocasionally, but its so much easier to sign them after the draft and not lose a pick on a project.
  15. wow 2! i cant believe i just sat and read all that.
  16. now thats funny, +1
  17. i hadnt seen much of him either but wow, did you see the second gear kick in when he runs? impresive.. i'd be stoked to get him. even though i know we have more pressing needs.
  18. Agreed....what r they thinkn
  19. ohh god no...! i'd hate that pick up. i dont see why all these fans r so enamored by some other teams trash. why is it everytime a team disgards some one, a bunch of fans wants to sign them. hell i even saw some posts about bulger and who was the other one i saw, ohh ya culpper! r u serious people? r we that desperate? i hope not....lol
  20. oohh dont get me wrong, i would love to get a young talented qb. bradford, claussen,mcCoy,tebow. but in the grand scheme of things im a fan and my insite doesnt matter. see while every one on here has thier opinion about which qb is this or that, i watch alot of college football during the year. and i love this class of guys comin out. almost all have been in the top 10 nationally every year, well except claussen...lol . but talented nun the less. but my question is if they pass on a qb in rnd 1. what do they have as a good starting left tacle in rnd 2? and i think thats why the f.o. will go tackle first.
  21. i think jackson will step up as will the younger guys given the opertunity. people around here think just because they dont have big numbers they wont. what the dont point out is they havent gotten alot of on the field time. or injurys slowed them down. recievers always take time to develop. hell took molds 3 years to break out....
  22. i so agree with that. kelly has never stated he wants to be or act like a scout . just gave his opinion. hell we do that all the time....lol.
  23. and clevland and seatle r a crap shoot? i think w w stay pat with a left tackle and go l after a qb in the later rounds.
  24. Just food for thought but dont the redskins now have 4 qbs on there roster? why would they draft a qb so high if they have Mcnabb, cambell(possible trade bait),brennon, and sign grossmen if i remember right. i think they r set. and as far as the raiders, hmmm maybe a later qb but i think al davis is sour on the high pick of russell to do it again anythime soon..
