  1. You should watch the whole interview with him. Cherry picking this one comment is what hack sports writers/analysts do. He admits to the drop and does put it on himself, too. Couldn't agree more with this
  2. Why would we want a guy who can't stay healthy???? But in all seriousness, I'd love to see us spend some high picks on TE's. Get a Gronk/V. Davis type to be one of EJ's go to guys
  3. TE might very well be the Bills 1st round pick next draft. Might want to take two
  4. I don't know, it seems logically, he's only hurting himself by not playing. His 'value' is dropping, which means he knows he won't have teams interested in trading for him. Doug W stood strong and didn't cave, so I think he won the first battle with Byrd. Whaley still holds the upper hand.
  5. We need to let Easley go to work. Guy is built like Moulds with a touch more speed. Had a great preseason, let him get some reps now and see if he's the real deal
  6. If you didn't make peace with the hire when it happened...in JANUARY, you're not going to be able to now. It's over
  7. JR, if you came in close contact with some of the people on this board I'm sure your first instinct would be to get away as soon as f******* possible. Some of what's posted here can only be the work of deeply troubled minds
  8. That's why it's so annoying when people post completely irrational thoughts, which is all the time. Take a second to think about what you're typing before posting
  9. I am so damn tired of you whiny, b***** ass fans. STFU and get over it. It's football. It's a game. If you can't enjoy the journey that it takes to becoming a super bowl winning team, when that moment actually occurs you might find you don't enjoy it as much as you thought you would. STOP COMPLAINING
  10. um...ok. I only saw one that I thought was going to be called on Mckelvin that wasn't. Yeah I saw that too. They showed the replay in slo mo and there was just nothing to see that remotely resembled a penalty on the Bills. Haha, same sh*t every team against these asshats
  11. Last year in one of the Pats/Bills game it was something like 10 penalties for the Bills for 115 yds and 5 for the Pats for 45ish...in the first half. Don't know why it always seems so one sided in this matchup
  12. Apparently there was a penalty, not sure exactly what it was. The analysts missed it as did the tv graphics crew. But on the replay you see a flag on the ground near the endzone. I don't know what it was but a PI call would be iffy at best. Something like that, that wouldn't have resulted in an automatic first down, bc it was 2nd and 11 after instead of 3rd down.
  13. Perfectly said right here. Not a great throw, not uncatchable. But one you need to make. I'm still a Stevie fan. He had a sweet route and catch on a perfect ball from EJ on the TD. This one is more on him than EJ, imo. Not every receiver is going to be clutch, unfortunately. Stevie really hasn't shown himself to be clutch, but that doesn't mean he isn't a good WR. He is. Let's move on to Carolina.
  14. I'm just curious on this. Doesn't EJ have ALL the measurables of an ideal franchise QB? Big, solid frame, adequately strong arm, accurate enough, can scramble because of speed. And on the sports science segment EJ tested better than any other candidate ever, especially on this one test with touch throws while under pressure. What else is there? Is Jaws talking like dissecting defense's and reading d's and all that? Not sure what he means.
  15. Especially with Carrington looking so good and possibly about to breakout this year
  16. Me too. Plus, he hurt himself with the whole Plantar fasciitis business. Teams aren't going to want a guy with a condition that's likely recurring like PF
  17. You also need to factor in offensive philosophy. Again, that's chicken and egg, too, because if you lack talent at TE you're more likely to push your offense in a different direction. We have a lot of offensive weapons besides TE right now. Hopefully Chandler, Smith, and Gragg can contribute, especially in the redzone. We already know Chandler can.
  18. Yeah, that's exactly what I mean. But the main issue is picking up a player from a team you're going to face then cutting him before the season starts or right after. We picked Milloy up because we could use him on the field, which we did.
  19. That's why there should be some sort of rule in place to prevent this. Maybe something like you can't claim a player from a team you're facing in the first month of the season. And for everyone saying "oh no big deal, Belichek doesn't need an advantage to beat the Bills" the fact that he did sign White means he believes he can get some info out of him. It doesn't matter how small the advantage is, it's still an advantage.
  20. Stop whining, seriously. Do you think it's easy to completely redo a friggin NFL franchise? It takes time. And getting your QB early in that rebuild is a bad idea, unless the absolute perfect one is there, because they'll get destroyed behind a porous o-line and not have much talent at the skilled positions to work with. They'd be shell shocked before week 8. Look at how bad the Raiders consistently are, and how their QB's do. They get crushed every play unless they hand off to McFadden. Buddy and co. did a pretty good job, imo.
  21. We need to cut B. Smith and keep both Easley and Hogan
