  1. Compared to the people who do this professionally, you are speaking from a position of ignorance, yet you don't even realize that.
  2. Didn't you know? Half this board has been scouting every player in the draft all year, going to watch them play, conducting interviews, dissecting tape, etc
  3. So you don't think the Bills organization knows this? Just curious why people complain nonstop about stuff like this. You're not a professional scout. You didn't spend hundreds of hours dissecting every player who would possibly be available at 50. Why gripe instantly? Darby could be good.
  4. It's not obvious when there's no correlation. Look I don't know if it was a good pick or not, but I trust Whaley and his team, and the rest of you should too. None of you know any better than them. People just need to relax and trust the guys in charge. We finally have good ones.
  5. That has nothing to do with who those teams are putting at DT. Some are acting as if by us picking Darby, it created that lineup of DTs we will be facing. There's no correlation.
  6. How does the Bills taking Darby connect to who the DTs are for the Jets and the Pats and one of the Dolphins DTs?
  7. Buddy did a lot of the ground work, which unfortunately for him was always going to be a thankless job.
  8. Turf toe can be devastating though, and lingers often times
  9. These are the people who need members of the national media to be on the Stephon Gilmore bandwagon in order to start parroting that he's a shut down corner. For instance, they don't know why Revis is so good, they only know that everyone says he's the best, so it must be true. Gilmore has flown under the radar (understandably) as a Bill, so he doesn't really get the recognition. Say we have an awesome 2015 and we win the AFC East in convincing fashion, all of a sudden guys like Gilmore will start getting national recognition.
  10. He was an odd player. Sometimes he looked like a big, uncoordinated oaf and other times he looked like he had all world talent. Some catches he made were incredibly difficult and he showed foot control that was crazy good for a man that big. Just not consistent.
  11. I recently watched highlights of this game. The crazy thing is, he had a 20-something yard TD taken away bc they said he was out of bounds! It was very close, so could have gone either way. Imagine if that was added to his game totals. Also, that draft class was ridiculous for WRs. I want to say Keyshawn went #1, TO in the second round, Harrison to the Colts, Moulds, and I think one other big time guy. I wonder if Moulds thinks about how easily he could have had Peyton Manning for his entire career instead of the mess he endured in Buffalo. Definitely the main reason he is so underrated.
  12. Andre Rison said in the 30 for 30 on athlete's or NFL players going broke that he spent well over 1 million on jewelry alone
  13. Marrone just must be so arrogant he believed his philosophies would prove better than some of the great coaches he's worked under/connected to. I mean, how do you not copy Payton or implement more of what he did, especially on offense, once you get your own NFL head coaching gig?
  14. Haha so true. I stopped watching espn 4 or 5 years ago and rarely go to the site. It's exactly as you described.
  15. I was actually thinking about him when I wrote that post. I just feel EJ showed a bit more during his 2 min drills than Fitz did.But you're right, Fitz did step up a few times, and left us hanging a few times as well. So obviously need to see EJ in that situation more to better compare to other QBs.
  16. Really? Other QB's do it. The great QB's make good throws from all kinds of angles and weight distribution. Just curious, not attacking you, but what do you make of his really pretty solid 2 min drills in multiple games? Carolina and Atlanta come to mind. I actually think he has some of that 'gamer' in him, and 2 min drills were where he stopped guiding throws and overthinking and just made things happen. I see much more of that gamer ability in EJ than in any of our QB's in a long time, especially the young ones we've drafted.
  17. This is not something he does every throw. It's once in a while, and honestly, sometimes there is not a better option when pressure is coming in your face. The best solution to avoid this would be to continue improving on his pocket mobility in order to find a slot to step up into, even if it's not a big one.
  18. Well actually the draft 'experts' were saying either Rodgers or Smith could go number 1 overall, Smith wasn't the clear cut favorite over Rodgers. So technically you could think of Smith as being a prospect worthy of the 24th overall pick, which is where Rodgers went. The 49ers were desperate for a QB.
  19. ? The back foot comes up as the weight is transferred to the front foot. In that instagram video it looks like it's a normal transition. I just watched video of Tom Brady throwing and it's the same motion with the foot. Not sure what you're referring to.
  20. Just curious if anyone thinks Marrone had a positive influence on Dareus turning things around? There were reports that had several sit downs, obviously expected of a HC after what Dareus did, but maybe Doug did actually help him.
