  1. Didn't he verbally commit to West Point? He might not have been able to handle the culture shock, but it certainly would have given him his best chance of changing his life. Too bad.
  2. I know it was talked about last year when he got arrested or cited or whatever, but for a first offense I'm kind of surprised he'd be suspended at all.
  3. I saw one report that said if you believe the 'whispers' in the organization, EJ is #4 right now behind Tuel, Tyrod, and Cassel! Maybe they'll both be cut before OTAs.
  4. He probably realized he had no support from them.
  5. It's just crazy how far and wide this completely speculative story spread. Social media had made it both tougher and easier for content writers. There is more competition, because anyone can create their own platform, but they don't need to try as hard anymore with the quality of what they're writing. Joe B literally just made this up in order to get a piece finished and out there. And then it pops up everywhere as if it's a real story. Bizarre world we live in now.
  6. That's literally what all these writers do. I mean, part of me gets it. They have to produce content. It's our fault for giving them attention. But one funny thing is on this guy's list, The year after 2013 is 2007, then it goes to 2002. Including 2013 on a list like that is so beyond premature it's ridiculous. 2007 and 2002 are far enough in the past to give an accurate portrayal of those draft classes. Way to drink in the sh*t smoothies these hacks are throwing out there.
  7. Exactly. For both Cassel and Garrapolo to do the same would really show it was mostly Belicheck. But also a lot of cheating.
  8. Agreed. So obvious how to prevent these issues but the NFL always seems to allow ample wiggle room for cheating.
  9. It's scary how bad the coverage is for certain teams. Just such lazy reporting, seriously.
  10. Sammy deleted the vids from his FB this morning. Wonder if the Bills asked him to.
  11. Until the Bills win 11-13 games in a season and make a serious run (I think this is very possible this season) the public will still just consider us a bad team. I wouldn't trade our WR corps for any other team's.
  12. This is a great point. Also, how often has it been talked about that the Pats** are SOOOO great at halftime adjustments. I remember one Broncos game specifically just a couple years ago. Down 21-0 or something maybe 24-0, and come out after halftime with a perfect answer for everything Peyton and his boys did. It wasn't just your typical reset and reformulate the plan type of halftime. It was something different. They won the game, naturally. But this has been a mainstay in the Pats** dynasty. The 2nd half domination. This is detailed in Spygate: The Untold Story. The key was Ernie Adams breaking down the opposing teams signals during halftime (the guy is a savant or something) and getting Brady and the gang the info needed to have an answer for everything. I'm in final negotiations with a Big Five publisher for one of my novels (crossing my fingers, this stuff isn't final until the contract is signed) and if things go well I may be in a position to have a decent public platform. I vow to advocate for Bryan O'Leary's book at every possible opportunity. I want it to be on everyone's nightstand in the entire country. I f******* hate that team so much.
  13. It's THUG to smoke a hookah?
  14. Wow, just looked again on FB at the vid. I would say the comments are overwhelmingly negative. People with any fame whatsoever literally can't cross the street without criticism.
  15. Honestly, I would love it if, in this day of obsessive 'political correctness' and 'official apologies' a public figure like an athlete would just tell the public to go f*** themselves. So tired of the PR machines and talk shows and social media and 'analysts' and 'experts.'
  16. BuffaAtl, I agree with you in the sense that it was pointless and a bit dumb to post this on social media. We can't forget that he is young. That doesn't necessarily excuse stupid behavior, but it does explain the obsession young people have with posting everything on FB or twitter or whatever. That is what and clearly some others think is stupid. I don't think an occasional hookah session w some buddies is going to in anyway affect Sammy's lung capacity and his athletic ability. And I don't think kids aren't able to grasp the concept of legal and illegal activities and at what ages these things change distinction. In my opinion that's an old fashioned way of viewing children. I respect your opinion on how you view and raise your children. This Sammy video only strengthens my disdain for social media, however, and nothing else. Also, not that Sammy was smoking marijuana, but there was a study done in which a man of average health smoked one joint a day for 10 years. At the start of the study and at the end, his lung capacity hadn't changed and his health was still generally the same. Honestly, tobacco smoking (even if it's not wrapped up in a chemical cocktail as are cigarettes) is probably worse. I can't cite any research off the top of my head but I think it has more affect on the body than anything Mary Jane can do.
  17. Yep Like others have said, I'm sure he was convinced not to in some way. Probably didn't want to be dragged into a discussion on it and regretted even letting it slip out originally. Funny how Pats** things related to cheating tend to get downplayed and go away. Obviously it's impossible to know the truth on this stuff, but it's just what is likely in my opinion. It's what my gut is telling me. I tend to come to accurate conclusions on peoples' motivations. Yeah, it's what makes sense. Brady's rise to stardom, while possible, is SO unlikely. Look at his draft pic. I had a better physique my senior year in high school. He looks like a skinny-fat 40 year old lesbian. Then he quickly develops a extremely strong arm and an uncanny ability to ALWAYS ALWAYS find the open receiver. As far as I'm concerned, what he's done is impossible without assistance. I still wish Spygate: The Untold Story went more mainstream. Their system was far more complex than anyone realizes. I still hear cheaters fans (blowhards if a group of people ever were) claim it was simply a few videos of game tape taken from the wrong spot on the field, that's all. They think that's as far as it goes. We can thank Goodell and the media for that. ESPN spent days and weeks analyzing TO's 'suicide' attempt and Bountygate from every angle, but all main reporters suddenly clammed up on the details of Spygate past a few illegal tapings. If we were privy to the details of their system employed by Ernie Adams, Brady, Belicheck, and others, maybe it would have been revealed. Or the tapes made public. Oh yeah, Goodell burned them. On a side note, I hate that team for making me angry whenever I think of them and/or the NFL. I love the Bills and I love the sport of football and grew up wanting to be the next Jim Kelly, but my association with the sport now is negative. Not just bc the Bills have been bad for 15 years but also bc a team that has clearly been cheating and getting ridiculously favorable calls for years is rubbing in our faces constantly.
  18. I commented this to someone who called out Sammy on FB for setting a bad example for kids. It's kind of funny because Jack Eichel had a clip put out on social media of him clearly drunk and downing another beer and saying "I'm coming for you, Buffalo!" Eichel is 18, or maybe recently turned 19. Haven't heard much if anything about that, though hockey is obviously not as popular mainstream as the NFL. But Sammy is 22 I believe, so he can legally smoke tobacco and drink beer and it shouldn't be a big deal. The people who think this sets a bad example for kids are the ones who don't realize how perceptive children are and likely view them as somewhat mindless sponges that don't have the ability to think for themselves. Let's not turn this into Hookahgate.
  19. Everybody relax. I sincerely doubt Sammy does this more than once in a blue moon. And you'd have to be dumber than dumb to post that on social media. I saw it too. I mean, I don't get why people post stuff like that anyway, but hookahs are not illegal. Usually it's flavored tobacco smoked out of it.
  20. I actually still really believe that much of Brady's success is headset related. Most people have heard how Flutie said he picked up the wrong helmet once and transmission was still going well after the 15 second cut off rule. And I also think the main reason Goodell is so pissed and came down hard on them is because he covered up Spygate, making it appear far less than it was, and probably warned Kraft to get his organization under control. Kraft made him look like an a**hole.
  21. I don't agree with that. Good organizations can maintain playoff/SB caliber teams consistently (some cheat to do this). Steelers are a good model, and obviously Whaley has been heavily influenced by them.
  22. Can you please provide a link? I'd like to read the article in full from the original website.
  23. I think the OP's point is that it is fact not objective and goes overboard the other way. Just because it's not pro-Bills doesn't make it objective.
  24. Sweet. More football fans need to realize how amazing an accomplish those Bills teams managed. The Eagles were talked about quite a bit for getting to 4 straight NFC Championships. It's like, uh, the friggin Bills did 4 straight SUPERBOWLS!
