Arian Foster says "I don't believe in God"

And now with The X-Files coming back, who knows when our misery will end. -
Leodis? Time to be worried?

He didn't say that from what I heard. He said he wasn't sure if he'd be ready. -

This should be merged into the Bills QB purgatory thread maybe -
Honestly, the Deflategate thing has gotten so crazy with so many small moving parts I don't know what's true or false and can't keep up, but it's my understanding that Brady might be able to draw the court process out and actually play at least the beginning or even entire season. So maybe we will see him.

If this team gets decent QB play and we stay healthy, 13-3 14-2 is possible. Who knows. I truly don't see one roster in the NFL that is better than ours. It all depends on if the ingredients come together. We honestly should manhandle the Colts. If Rex can get this D where he should be able to, teams like the Colts won't know what hit them. We will be far more physical and also run the ball down their throats. Throw in great special teams and it's a laugher. The only reason I think it will be somewhat close is it will be the offense's first real game together and we won't have Dareus and possibly not Leodis.
-
Haha what? I feel like we could torch them with Dareus, w/o can still win for sure. Should be a good game.
-
I'm just pissed we won't have Dareus.

I can only imagine how many concussions LBers get in their career. They have to be the most at risk of brain issues after they retire. They have contact on almost every play and it's after both they and the ball carrier have built up some speed. Lineman obviously get hit every play but it may not be as jarring as what LBers face.

Bills' Camp @ SJF: Week 1 Day 6 - Begins on Page 64

The one strategy the Bills have not tried is to be patient with a QB and build the team around him. Losman actually put together a decent season and then the beginning of the next year Wilfork dove at his knee and took him out. Trent looked decent until Wilson rung his bell. Giving EJ time to develop is a good play, imo. We'll see what happens this year. -

The scrutiny these guys are under is insane. Play by play analysis of a training camp practice! Haha. Incredible. I truly think these players don't give two sh*ts about what the media is saying or 'tweeting.' -
Hyperbole sells!

Maybe it's actually good JuJu. Who are we to know for sure.

Why hasn't Whaley signed him yet.

I disagree with this only because I remember hearing from Whaley or someone else that we could have traded down again, even further back, I believe with San Fran, netting another pick/player, but we didn't want to risk losing EJ. -

I just have this feeling Tyrod could pull away during the preseason games by being a "gamer." I recently watched the full VTech vs FSU ACC Champ game the year Tyrod went against EJ. Obviously it was a while ago, but Tyrod seems to have an ability to make things happen, both with his ridiculously quick moves running and dodging and also with his strong arm. I made note of it before, but he seems to be better than EJ at leading his receivers. I had hoped EJ had improved with this, bc whoever wins the QB competition, we want him to lead our WRs and RBs to maximize YAC. I'm honestly just waiting for game action to even begin forming my opinion on this competition. I want to see if EJ looks consistent and authoritative, taking command. I want to see if Tyrod potentially has that X factor and is a 'winner' who just gets it done. I also want to see if Cassell consistently makes the right reads. The last thing we want is for our vet to be making poor decisions with where to go with the ball. Let's be honest--if one of these three guys can limit mistakes and consistently feed the ball to our vast array of playmakers, we are talking playoffs, possibly winning the division. If someone surprises and really steps up, we could be talking fighting for the #1 seed. I mean, do you guys remember how hard it was to play against Rex's D's when the Jets were a playoff team? Our QBs had no time to throw and it just seemed there was nowhere to go with the ball. I always feared the Jets bc of that and their physicality. Rex has arguably his most talented D ever. We could be vicious on that side of the ball, seriously. At least we have a guy like Roman directing the offense this year. That itself is a huge plus. -

This incident has become almost impossible to decipher regarding what is true and what is not. -
I heard it's that his eyes are slow.

Who will start at QB on opening day?

I'm just curious what you're thoughts regarding the OLine's play that day are? Because I recall quite a few worse QB performances during the last fifteen years. Good point. -

He's just being more objective, giving the facts of what is taking place, versus filtering it through a subjective lens. Unfortunately, reporters seem to have been forced to add a subjective spin in order to stay viable/get clicks/attention. Probably a result of everyone being able to have a platform via social media. -

It's the mentality that runs rampant here, that (no offense) you are perpetuating. The doom and gloom regarding QB prospects is actually the norm. So it's no surprise to me that this attitude is prevalent with Buffalo news outlets. They've been exposed to the same poor level of QB play over the last 15 years. It's so ingrained that the emphasis on the negative is just what occurs every spring and summer with this team regarding our QBs. And then everyone chooses sides and argues over who is going to be right. For me, it has just been discussed SO much that I don't even feel like chiming in very often. We are literally going over the same stuff constantly. I'm more concerned with who does well in the preseason games as opposed to reacting to individual tweets on every practice rep. Practice is the time to get the mistakes out of your system as you try to gel with your teammates. I've watched a lot of live game tape of Cassell, EJ, and Tyrod (mostly in college) and I'm confident we will move the chains better this year. I initially thought EJ would seize the starting job, but I have a feeling Tyrod may be more of a gamer who makes things happen.
