  1. Carolina will have a new coach next season with no personal investment in clausen. If they end up ahead of buffalo in draft order and they deem Luck a strong enough prospect, you best believe the new coach will snatch him up, clausen be damned.
  2. It is a bills forum and discussing former bills has never been off limits or off topic so get over yourself.
  3. How does kyle williams become shawn anderson?
  4. I'm not sure that "many" were ever saying johnson should be waived; just the few overreacting knobs that always say crazy things that we have all learned to ignore.
  5. Missing the point he's trying to make yet again. The roids will increase your muscle mass at the cost of your tendons and other connective tissue. Merriman's joints weren't ready for the incredible strength he put on and he's been paying for it ever since.
  6. Maybe you're not so uninformed, just stupid.
  7. Merriman still has 5 days to report from the time he was claimed (today). It stands to reason he won't be playing against the bears. He may not even have reported yet.
  8. If they stick with the 3-4, OLB is more pressing than DL at this point. Get the best hybrid guy out there. Someone like orakpo (d'oh!) If luck isnt there of course.
  9. Bill was wondering in the OP why Spiller is being used basically as a part-time player despite his being such a high draft pick. I was just replying to that, giving CJ / White splitting time as an example - never said anything about performance. You just assumed that. CJ (and White, for that matter) obviously were both better statistically than spiller and/or jackson could hope to be this year. And that's to be expected since the titans never threw the ball and ther backs were running behind a beast offensive line.
  10. Fair enough i was reaching a bit with jackson. No doubt he is underperforming this year compared with past performance. At least he looks like he still belongs on an nfl roster, unlike many of the guys playing on the defensive side of the ball.
  11. I agree it's an extreme example given that all tennessee did in 08 was run the ball. The bills obviously throw the ball much more than the titans did that year. You're also right that the numbers do not lie. White had 200 carries himself. I would call that spitting carries. Not sure why the word frames required quotation marks.
  12. Only comparing their frames not their production kid pump your breaks and take a breath. White did get carries and a majority of the goalline work.
  13. Good stuff Bill as usual. Spiller's stat line would've looked much more impressive if fitz hadn't overthrown him on a wide open look. Chris Johnson is a similarly built back and remember he split carries with Lendale his rookie year.
  14. That play pretty much sums up his career
  15. You're right but that in no way justifies atrocities like Kelsay's play yesterday. You could have thrown a Maybin jersey on him and you wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. There aren't many, but there are guys on the team contributing good football: williams, fred jackson, steve johnson come to mind.
  16. The wilson drop was unbelievable. Donte didnt play horrible, but still nothing to write home about. Kelsay's level of suck is off the frigging charts. Kyle Williams must be sick of playing with bums like that behind him.
  17. Kelsay got owed as usual. He blows, period. I'd like to some jagoff like napolian defend him after today.
  18. Best hidden gem candidate would probably be moats, but like others have said it's too early to tell.
  19. Can we retire the whole "MayBE" gimmick? It wasn't funny the first day someone wrote it, and that was probably a year ago.
  20. Ooh +1 for you. My face is red. I wasn't criticizing his grammar though, to be fair.
  21. God it's like arguing with a little child at this point. Attacking people who are presenting you with proof while you rely on one expert's opinion alone. And you clearly didn't even understand the Mayock "proof" you are clinging to the first time you read it. You thought he projected as a 4th round pick, when in reality he was ranked the 4th best at his position. Those two statements mean two wildly different things. If English is your 3rd language or something then I apologize, clearly you're having some troubles. Otherwise, you should read more carefully before desperately defending some irrational thought like a 4 year old.
  22. Yes clearly that is what maybin is going to do - retire tomorrow and forfeit tons of money and open a gym.
  23. Sullivan must be creaming his jeans right now seeing all the news outlets picking up his latest flamejob. Trashing maybin is beating a dead horse at this point. I wish sully would write something useful at some point. BTW, why are some of you so concerned about maybins hair? He has millions of dollars to burn and obviously spends a lot of it at the barber shop.
  24. 95% of draft projections had maybin going somewhere in the 1st round (most predicted 2nd half of the round). Your contention that the team picked him 3 rounds too early is asinine - no one said he was a 4th round talent at the time. i don't care what Modrak said, and it's irrelevant anyways. He should be fired as well, but Jauron made the maybin pick as head coach and de facto GM.
  25. That scenario only exists in your sick mind so don't worry bout it. Fun watching ponder and the crimi'noles choke that game away to nc state. Ponder looks like he's crying : )
