  1. Anyone with a great dig on TO and Ocho like that is alright by me any day. Im with stealth on the reggie wayne comparison too - spot on good sir.
  2. No your LAMP is the definition of spinning. You literally made zero coherent points in that diatribe. The ramblings of a madman.
  3. Kelly is a HOF QB. Kelly got to the HOF because of his skills, not because of Hull and Ballard. Fitz will never come within 500 miles of the HOF. don't compare the two you look completely foolish doing so. I'm just pointing out a fact - Wilson said on record the team will focus on getting a QB in the draft. Whining in all caps ain't gonna change that fact.
  4. Shanny is dealing with crap from the previous regime just like Chan is. We shall see which one turns it around first. That video very good btw. Get 'em!
  5. Someone on WGR earlier this week said Kelly was on the Bills payroll. Who knows if its true. I'd like to think he's the OAOBB. official adulterer of the Buffalo Bills.
  6. Buddy you can't judge college qbs just on numbers alone. Look at who the competition is. Look at the type of offense the team plays. Go back and look at the numbers of the last few Hawaii quarterbacks, including colt brennan who hopefully recovers from his accident. They all put up monster numbers. They all never sniffed the nfl. I watched some of the BSU game tonight and a lot of moore's throws looked like rainbow bombs to titus young, who is a awesome WR who outclasses anyone that has been covering him this year. If i see kellen moore throw the 20 yard out to his WR against a good opponent then i will eat my words. Until then, stop being enamoured with any qb on a high scoring team.
  7. A top 5 pick is almost guaranteed at this point. If the Bills don't go QB with that high pick (which is unlikely, given RW's statements earlier this year) then there's only two positions that deserve that high a pick: left tackle or pass rusher (de or olb). I dont think there's a Suh type talent at interior defensive line this year to warrant that high a pick. There's economic factors to consider as well though, and that's why ralph will mandate a QB with the first round pick, no matter what fitz does the rest of the year. Wilson has already said as much on the record. I am not saying i agree, i am just reading the tea leaves as i see them. Even if fitz posts good, respectable numbers the rest of the season, the bills will still go QB, and that QB will probably be Mallett.
  8. He's 5'10" and throws like a fairy.
  9. The reasons why were put forth in the original post. Jville and San Diego seem the likeliest candidates at this point. That being said, eventually the bills will need major stadium renovations or a new stadium altogether. If not they will be in danger of going away to canada or london permanently.
  10. From what i understand, the pro combat unis are concept designs Nike developed using their new, lighter fabric. A handful of colleges tested out the uniforms this season, wearing them for one of their games. Oregon and TCU were a couple of the schools that participated in the testing. It remains to be seen if the pro combat unis are fully adopted by college or pro programs. The bills mockup looks odd to me, fwiw.
  11. The Skins gave Chad Jackson a workout last week but apparently didn't sign him. link
  12. Just an aging cast off huh? Ok. This from the same jagoff who defended the Kelsay resigning so adamantly. Anyways with the Parrish injury you'll probably get your wish and see Spiller split out wide more and we'll see how he does. Something to look forward to troll.
  13. Meh he (or she) is just parroting the rest of the trolls around here. Spiller is not going to rush for 2000 yards this year so clearly he's a PoS who'll never amount to anything in the league.
  14. No the trolls will actually love it, since Spiller is obviously already a colossal bust at tailback you see...
  15. No Schaub or Flacco? Anyway I don't think everyone is as dead set on QB in rd. 1 next year as you may think, especially if Luck stays in college. But the man in charge does seem dead set on getting a QB next year, so I guess we all should come around to the idea. He's the one signing the checks after all.
  16. He was 10th in yards from scrimmage last year: not "middle of the pack" unless only 20 running backs played in the NFL last year. Oh sorry, you said "yards gained." Well, in total yardage, Fred Jackson was 1st overall. Pull out all the random statistics you like, and bury yourself even more. All I said was he was more productive last year than this year. So Spiller is averaging less than 4 yards a carry because he sucks, is a bust, is too small, and never should have been picked... And Jackson is averaging less than 4 yards a carry because he sucks, is over the hill, and was never any good to begin with?
  17. 1400 total yards last year was pretty productive. You see, sir, that's why I said "this year" no one is running the ball well. As opposed to last year, when Jackson did run for over 1,000 and average 4.5 ypc.
  18. Actually your statement above is far sillier. Fred Jackson - 3.8 ypc CJ Spiller - 3.8 ypc No one on the team is running the ball this year.
  19. Do a little more research than watching 15 plays. Pretty much any scouting report you can find on the kid has universal praise for his arm strength. He can make NFL throws. And he's dead-on-balls accurate. Captain Checkdown he is not. Luck's minor footwork issues are really his only problem and will be easily corrected by an NFL coaching staff.
  20. Maybe the coaches, who see the kid in practice almost every day, already know brohm can't cut it so why bench a competent guy just to watch brohm get lit up? Some of you are under the impression that just because You haven't seen enough to form an opinion of brohm it must be so for eveyone else as well, including the bills coaches and staff. It ain't so. They know a lot more than you.
  21. If anything can humble JJ, this season's debacle would do it. He brought in Parcells before, who improved the team before Jones became too meddlesome and drove him away. So the precedent is there. Maybe Jones finally gets out of his own way and grants cowher or holmgren control. Eh, probably not.
  22. Again, i never compared spiller's performance to chris johnson's, but hey akm you keep believing whatever your feeble mind will conjure up. Actually i agree with much of what the OP suggests, since Spiller's versatility was one of his biggest selling points coming out of college. No doubt spiller currently stuggles in the "conventional" running back role. I personally think he'll get better in that role, but maybe he won't. I guess we will wait and see. If some of you guys want to throw the guy on the scrap heap after one half of his rookie season go ahead and keep on thinking that; there's no cure for that type of stupid.
  23. That's what bad teams do. Hell even when your offense and defense are both consistently good you can still lose a majority of your games. Ask SD.
