That is just plainly false. Williams is the best DL on the team, and it's not even close. The bills do need to add d line and linebackers through the draft. Kelsay does play servicably when he lines up with his hand on the ground, and that's good. But even yesterday, maybe his best game of the year so far, he whiffed on far too many plays - he's a mediocre tackler still. But he shows quickness on the line and it's great to see him in better position.
-
If kelsay is playing DE then they're in a 43 formation and stroud is playing DT. so why are you comparing the two? Stupid? Drunk? Both? I saw kelsay bounce off big ben like a pinball on that 3rd down 30 yard scramble. Does that count as a missed tackle?
-
Kelsay does change games. Usually he changes Bills wins into Bills losses. Because he's a bum

Drink all u want OP just do us a favor and back away from the keyboard while doing it

The bills in the past 3 seasons drafted wood and levitre, replaced a horrific center with a servicable one, and drafted troup and carrington, two DLs. But yea, they arent trying to improve the trenches. They're called facts. Use them.

Unless you can answer those questions, then what you presented isn't really a "possible option" now, is it? And if Nix just as bad as Donohoe, Modrak and the rest, what makes you think that IF he traded Spiller for some tight end, lineman, whatever, that player would be any good?
-
You answered yourself as far as your other "option" goes - how often do u see player for player trades? And what kind of player are you going to get for spiller at this point? Where are these great tight ends lying around that their present teams are itching to get rid of? How would Nix look if he traded away his very first pick after one year? These are questions. You're a dumbass.

Glad you're not the gm then. On what planet would the Bills get a 1st or 2nd round pick for a rookie rb who hasn't established any value yet given his lack of touches? Come on man.

Anyone who pimp slaps "Hurr Durr" Big Ben deserves a $25,000 raise IMO.

Bills starting to get respect

Another reason the Steelers are consistently good - they rarely if ever take any opponent for granted. It will be tough sledding Sunday. -
Being a Black QB; It Must be Tough

I've seen Jemele on ESPN occasionally - she seems nice enough. But you're right. There is a entire cottage industry of African American sports reporters whose sole focus is to find a race-related angle to everything. Check some of Whitlock's stuff out sometime. It's a shame these few reporters have to rely on the same angle over and over again as a crutch, instead of doing some actual investigating. -
THIS. Surprisingly I completely agree.

He violated the NFL rule against "premeditated" celebration - a rule that sprung out of the sharpie thing, the HoF jacket stunt, etc...

I'm not sure I am being silly by being consistent in my opinion of kelsay - actually i think it's a lot more ridiculous to act like dozens of other posters here, who jump on and off individual players' bandwagons week after week based on single game performance. You're a regular poster you surely see them too - they're rampant. That doesn't mean i don't acknowledge a good performance - chris did play better yesterday both in containment and qb pressure. Ive already said that. It isn't going to change my opinion that he's underperformed consistently and is overpaid - there are other players on the roster far more deserving of a raise than him. No matter how high his motor is.
-
Gee thanks bigred for telling me what i want. "high motor" is just a coded way of saying "some white guy" and no i certainly don't want kelsay wasting a roster spot for any amount of time. FACT
-
"haters gonna hate" I suppose that's as close as we'll get to an admission on your part, but i'll take it.
-
I concur. And i hope he plays that way the rest of the season. But my long and short term memory suggest otherwise. In my opinion extending this guy holds the team back and makes improvement on the defense a lot harder. I refuse to respond politely with a blatantly biased poster who refuses to admit that CK disappears for games at a time but will readily throw a passable performance out there as clear evidence of his worth to the team.
-
I think you should relax my friend and not be such a homer for this guy. Of course kelsay wants to be here - buffalo is the only team dumb enough to pay him 6 mil to play. Clearly your still starstruck because kelsay signed your hat or bought you a beer or something, but get over it and at least try to be a bit objective. Why don't you start a thread about a player that, you know, has consistently produced for the team in the recent past? Steve johnson, kyle williams, poz? Maybe? Oh you havent had a 5 minute conversation with any of them, so clearly rubbing Kelsay's first decent game in 3 years in our collective face is a better choice. Tell Chris i said hi

Not being talked about but very important

Just highlights how god awful and amateur our previous head coach was. April and Fewell are sharp guys, and they suffered under Jauron. -
God you are horrible. I knew this was coming from you too because yes, kelsay played servicable today - pretty much how a DE making his kind of money should play every week. But he doesn't, admit it - kelsay disappears for SEASONS at a time, then shows up with a decent game against a two win team. Congrats. And what is that, an Avatar reference? So Lame you should be banned for life.

When you listen to Chan talk about Fitz....
Zulu Cthulhu replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
NO. he can put all the weight on he wants, but he can't grow another 4 inches. Kellen Moore cannot "make all the throws" - not even close. Lets not get all enamoured with 5'10" quarterbacks just because they're lily white and play for the lovable small school. -
Fred's strength is vision. He showed it again today. He's always been below average speed, average power. But he's disciplined and knows how to wait for and hit holes. Steve johnson is a star in the making. Probably the only truly great draft pick of the previous 5 years.

WHY DOES COLLINGSWORTH HATE VICK!
Zulu Cthulhu replied to sleaky72's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Perhaps he's a dog lover. J/k, i think it's because CC is a joke of a analyst, but they had to replace madden with someone just as dumb.
