I'm pretty sure the coaches have seen enough of brohm, even if some of you haven't yet. How many more times should he be thrown in there to get murdered before the plug is pulled for good? Gailey and his staff have seen this guy in camp every day and in practice every day, all year. That's why he doesn't play and shouldn't play. They tossed him out there against a 2nd string jets' secondary and he did nothing. Case closed. No need to reserve judgment any longer.

I thought fitz's qb rating was 81.8, not 85. Either way, that's not very good

There were many on this board who wanted to see Brohm in game to see what he has. Well, you all saw it. Now you all know what the coaches have known all season: he blows. But yet some of you complained that he didn't get a look-see earlier.

If brady and manning are 10s, and perhaps rivers and rogers are 9s, fitz is no where near a 7. Im sorry but the above poster is right, we over-valuate guys that occasionally put up big numbers. Fitz did the same thing in ohio filling in for palmer. Look at his qb rating. And look at the qbs below him in qb rating. He's beating out scrubs and rookies in that particular stat. He's nowhere near the top echelon guys, i.e. Brady, rivers, etc. I know not everyone is sold on the qb rating as a valid stat. I think it is. And that man, who rarely comments publicly about the team, said getting a franchise QB was the top priority in the offseason. Granted RW's statements were before Fitz hit his stride this season and put up decent numbers. I feel all your pain, i really do. But i truly doubt that 1st pick in april will be anyone you all hope for. There's another thread on the front page right now suggesting we might take a CB. I personally don't think that will happen (if it does, bill from nyc's head will explode) but dont be alarmed if they end up taking someone like AJ Green or Cam Newton. If Newton blows up at the combine or at his personal workout, buffalo will take him. RW will demand it. I would prefer Fairley btw

But the OP pointed out something - he suggested AJ Smith followed Nix's lead while Nix was there. It got me thinking about this past year's draft - Nix drafted a RB, Smith drafted a RB. both in the first round. Both (arguably) underacheived. Weird huh?

The fumbles by McK are killers, but you can't judge him a bust on a lack of interceptions. There's more to that position than picking the ball off. Alphonso Smith is horrible, but still has a lot of ints.

It would be interesting to see what san diego's run defense looked like in those 3 seasons preceding those 3 picks. If SD was stopping the run well and generating good frontline pass rush during those seasons, then those defensive back picks probably made a lot of sense. I'm too lazy to look, but Football Reference probably has those stats readily available. I would assume Peterson will probably be off the board by the time we pick anyways, but that will obviously depend on how next week shakes out as to draft order. I doubt the Bills would take Amukamara. If the Bills do make a "left field" 1st round pick, my money's on them taking Green. FWIW, walter football's latest mock has Peterson going 2nd overall to Denver, as they anticipate Champ Bailey's departure. The Bills sit at 4th overall after 16 weeks.

Williams looks pretty dominant to me. Fitzpatrick is in the lower 1/3 of the league in qb rating. He hovers right in between carson palmer and shawn hill. Is that pro bowl worthy?

The incentive deal is a great idea T. Player agents absolutely hate incentive deals, but in truth they really are the fairest way to go. And i don't think donte's playing that horribly...but that seems to be the minority opinion these days.
