  1. The new CBA will likely force the Bills to alter their spending habits. I would expect them to attempt to grab a tight end and a offensive tackle at the very least.
  2. Congrats on following up several insults to the people in the buffalo area with another backhanded insult. Sorry we are all thin skinned drunks up here who can't get a job anywhere else. You're just ignorant son, and probably were too dumb to get a well paying job here. Good riddance.
  3. I like the "Bills" and logo above the numbers on the front and back - small modern touches on what is largely a throwback uniform. Less impressed with the logos on the top of the pants - those seem a bit unnecessary. The widening of the center stripe on the helmet is very subtle, at least to my eye.
  4. If you want to use the place for other things besides football (and to justify the cost of a new stadium, it better be multi-use) then you might have to chuck a little bit of tradition to get it done.
  5. Who would win in a fight: michael jasper or a grizzly bear?
  6. The idea makes too much sense, clearly it will never happen. All of promo's points are spot-on.
  7. There are too many threads speculating about if/when the Bills are moving to TO. Especially without any actual news on the situation. Almost 5 years after the the current Bills in Toronto series and it seems people are still trying to figure out what exactly it means long term. It means nothing long term - that's why it had a term attached to it. RW pocketed a bunch of cash, we should be happy for him, i guess. Of course, there are way too may repeat threads about many of the same topics around here. I suppose it's a symptom of the lockout. Or posters simply don't know the functionality of the board (search function). Either way, i can live with it, but i can see how it can get annoying to some.
  8. You, sir, are mistaken as well. Why do you think they employ all the T&A to serve you rubes? Even Duff's knows their wings suck. That's why they employ cheap tactics like that to keep the suckers rolling in.
  9. Anchor bar wings are only marginally better and way overpriced. You like Duff's because you live in jersey and dont know good wings. Want some advice? Snyder Bar and Grill on Kensington - 5 minutes away from the sheridan Duff's and infinitely better. Probably open on the 4th too.
  10. Buffalo already IS a regional team. They're the "Buffalo" Bills in name only. Patrons to RWS come from all over western and central NY and southern Ontario. I meet and speak with a different handful of Canadians every game I go to, and I've been to every game for the past 5 seasons. The dip in season ticket sales isn't due to a failure to regionalize the team into Ontario. The dip is due to: 1) the overall economic downswing, and 2) more and more ticket-buying fans getting fed up with the ongoing piss poor team getting thrown out there year after year. If the Bills want to get season ticket sales back up into the 55-60,000 range, they need only do 1 thing - stop sucking and make the playoffs. You'll see people from Buffalo, Roc, NF, St Catharines and everywhere in between buy tickets.
  11. Duff's=overrated anyway. At least 50 better places for wings in and around buffalo. They're closed and should be.
  12. Funny, i hear the knees on that WINNER aren't so WINNING anymore. But yeah guys like you have heard of him so why not bring him again and slap the C on him. DERP!
  13. So moronic. Carucci knows more about football then you could ever hope to learn billsfan.
  14. Again, Vic wasn't offered a job by Buffalo. It doesn't surprise me RW didn't, either, based on some past hirings. A smart, insightful guy like Carucci would make way too much sense.
  15. He may be there, but that doesn't disqualify him from watching other games (perhaps dvr'ed or whatever) and providing analysis. He's not going to be in the booth calling browns games. You guys really wondering why he's working for the Browns and not the Bills? Because Cleveland offered him $$$$ and the Bills did not. Seems simple enough.
  16. Browns show is Mon-Fri. He's continuing on Sirius on Saturdays. I'd assume he'll be around on Sundays still as well.
  17. And a Hilary intern from her Buffalo office no less. All us locals are brimming with pride.
  18. "Pakistan is our amigo" doesn't lend much "intellectualism" to your thread OP. Most probably see Pakistan as more a business partner-they give us a base of operations and help us curb the most blatant terrorists, and in return we unload billions of aid to them.
  19. Agree John. Anyone crying in their cups over the loss of Nate Clements should watch competitive lumberjacking, not football, since they're clearly not following it.
  20. The only private institutions subject to the constitutional civil rights requirements are those that perform quasi-public services. The church doesn't perform those services and don't have to perform any marriages that don't meet their own requirements. Even straight couples previously married in a catholic parrish and subsequently divorced have to get a church annulment to get married again by a catholic priest. Stop applying employment law to matrimonial standards.
  21. Savvy busInessmen, for sure.
  22. I highly doubt more than 1% of the gay couples currently wishing and waiting to get married would want to get married in a Roman Catholic church. Most simply want their union to be recognized by their state and country and enjoy the same privileges that straight married couples have. So crowing about "making priests do something they don't wanna" is dumbassery.
  23. The whole thing sounds shady. I say let the players piss their money down a hole - maybe they'll learn a lesson.
  24. Right wingers are pu**ies they just haven't realized it yet.
