  1. Someone should have asked Santonio what the Jets have won since he arrived in New Jersey. Oh that's right - nothing. Same as Buffalo.
  2. Do you suffer from some complex? You seem awfully desperate for others to validate your opinions. It's football. No need to rend your garments.
  3. Agree. I wouldn't think twice about it.
  4. I agree 100% with the bolded. However, even if SJ continues his post-bye average, he will still approach 80 catches. It's not that far-fetched to think he can pull out one big game in the last 5 and surpass his total from last year.
  5. I guess the bottom line is this: No one is forcing any local in the blackout area to buy a ticket to these games. The Buffalo Bills and Ralph Wilson aren't telling any of you complainers how to spend your money. Yet some of you feel obliged to tell the team how to spend theirs - they should buy out the unsold tickets so you can watch the game in comfort, but they're cheap so they won't and let's complain about something else. Never mind the only reason some of you want the ticket buyout is because you're cheap (won't buy a ticket yourself, even at a discounted price from a ticket broker), or lazy (don't want to make the trip to the stadium), or afraid the weather might be less than comfortable for you.
  6. Locals that really want to watch the game can buy a ticket. If not, then listen on the radio. Problem solved.
  7. Pass breakups all over the field today. Maybe Aaron Williams is making a difference.
  8. That's 7 catches against revis and counting....
  9. That was a comment, I'm not the one bickering about Johnson's celebration for 4 pages. Calm yourself.
  10. exactly Dre. Don't bother trying to get through to these people.
  11. This board has been hijacked by squares.
  12. Yeah we should totally not pay SJ13...
  13. I think it is an injury.
  14. The positive stats that astro graciously posted don't necessarily reflect the current performance of the team (which is bad), but they do still show areas where the team has clearly improved this year (which is good!) Thx for digging them up.
  15. Right...it's the coach's fault moats hasn't done anything all year. Just because a guy hits a 40 year old qb and knocks him out of the game doesn't make him an all-world outside linebacker.
  16. Never read so much kneejerk simplicity in so short a thread before. Congrats. None of you were calling Johnson a "fraud" last year when the guy caught 80 balls. Of course now it's in vogue to trash the guy playing hurt. Once, just once, try posting while sober.
  17. # of sacks doesn't equal pressure. The defensive front was more disruptive with Merriman and Williams in the lineup, even if it didn't result in sack numbers. Opposing coaches have adjusted to the Bills offense since the beginning of the year. That, and the constant shuffling of the O line due to injuries have hurt the offense. SJ13 has been playing hurt for a while now, and the other WRs have had a hard time hanging on to the ball.
  18. Do we only express ourselves in cliches and emoticons now?
  19. I don't think Gailey wants to fire Edwards immediately because, record-wise, Buff is far from out of contention. A staff shake up now might be interpreted by some in the locker room as giving up on this season already - which would probably assure their current free fall would continue through the rest of the season. That said, i agree with you, i've seen enough of the Edwards hybrid experiment and think he should go after this season. The talent level on D is inadequate for anything other than a base 43 at this point. We don't even have enough decent DBs to field a competent nickel/dime defense on passing downs. Unless you're playing Denver every week, that spells death in today's league. Here's hoping Aaron Williams makes some big strides in the next few weeks.
  20. Tom Brady is a remarkable QB. Aaron Rodgers is remarkable. Even Cam Newton is more remarkable than the thoroughly ordinary Ryan Fitzpatrick.
  21. Nope, he did not just overthrow a receiver on "one play." go back and watch again.
  22. A sure TD pass that he had to toss maybe 6 yards through the air - and he chucked it 5 feet over the receiver's head. That s*** is on Fitz, no one else. The WRs' stonehands and lack of pass protection are problems, sure. But let's not manufacture excuses for Fitz - he always has been, and probably always will be woefully inaccurate.
  23. Still under contract next year and finally had the surgery he admitted he needed for a while. So yeah, he's still worth a look next year in camp.
