  1. Yes ridiculous.... The fact it worked out does not take away how stupid that was.....
  2. Thank you for showing your stupidity. Amzing how little debate there usually is, just non-sensical silly retorts...
  3. When you don't watch a team or follow them closely a box scored can be very deceiving. Yes 17-16 looks great to the untrained eye. Too me it was one of the most depressing losses I have ever witnessed, not for what we did, but what we did not do.
  4. Again with how terrible drafting a QB first 15 picks is.... Like Rivers, Manning X 2, Vick, McNab, Brees, Rothlisberger... Is it a risk.... yes... So was Mike Williams and players at almost every position. I have said retpeatedly, take the reins off Losman, let him prove himself the turnover machine, can't feel the pressure, bad reads, overthrow receivers, incompetent idiot many of you want to see and then we can make the decision and draft a QB... Last thing I want is another Bledsoe, Brad Johnson, Jon Kitna, Blake type QB that accomplishes nothing.... Marv had a chance this year with Leinart and passed. If JP is not given a chance to prove himself the last 7 games and we pass again on a QB, Ralph Wilson will see the error at the ticket office.
  5. That's my point... Let's see what/who the culprit is.... Let's make informed decisions...
  6. The only time we did throw was the opening drive converting 3 of 3 third downs. We were never up the rest of the game.... You guys are so dense.... The only game I can agree with was the Miami game, where we were up the entire game. We are the only team that lost throwing under 20 times and we were tied midway through the 4th quarter vs. GB.... Something is wrong here.
  7. Week 1 Palmer 19 120 yds win 23-10 Rushing 108 Week 2 Vick 19 90 yds win 14-3 Rushing 306 Losman 18 82 yds win 16-6 Rushing 105 Week 3 None Week 4 None Week 5 Alex Smith 19 165yds Win 34-20 Rushing 165 Week 6 Rothlisberger 19 235 yds Win 45-7 Rushing 224 Week 7 None Week 8 V. Young 15 87 yds Win 28-22 Rushing 111 Walter 14 51 yds Win 20-13 Rushing 40 Week 9 Losman 15 102 yds Win 24-10 Rushing 120 Huard 15 142 yds Win 31-17 Rushing 180 Week 10 Losman 13 83 yds Lose 17-16 Rushing 111 There you have it 10 weeks only 10 times less then 20 passes and Losman is 3 of those and the only loss. All others were easy wins in every case, where the team led by at least a TD throuout the game except for the GB-Buf game.... And our Rushing yards those games were also less then each teams except for 1 case. Thus we must be really pathetic or working on our 1920 game plan.
  8. We have agreed about the offence stinking... We however disagree how much is JP and how much is the playcalling, handcuffing the offense, line play and receivers. Point is we have not got the ball back to the offense when we had a chance. These defensive & special teams td's are not exactly unusual. Quit pretending Buffalo is the only team to ever score defensive points.
  9. You need a better way to spend 3 hours Sunday afternoon. At least I spend half the game at the gym on an eliptical trainer and get a work out.....
  10. Point was we did not even get a sniff of the ball to screw it up. Only other game we had a chance was the Jets... I'll be happy to show JP the door when he gets a chance to show he can't play or is given the opportunity to screw up on his own. There is no excuse for a defence that let teams basically run the clock out predominantly with running the ball not once, but 3 of the 4 times the Bill did have a chance late in the game. As for the Jets game, prior to JP's scramble for a td and the onside kick, we had kicked a fg and promptly on New York's next possession, they walked down the field and scored, much like GB did, before the int at the 1 yard line. Time to call the defense out...
  11. NE held the ball the last 6:15, Detroit the last 4:04 (okay we got it back with 9 seconds) & Indy the last 6:22, not letting our offense sniff the field.... Thank you defense for the great pressure....
  12. Bunch of losers.. A 6-3 goraner where we throw 13 times, rush for a 120 yards and the defense allows huge chunks of yards but get Brett Favre like useless turnovers (that are worthless, like the JP fumble caused by the ref), shows us nothing.... I will happily take a loss where we let it all out, and may be fail miserably and learn something vs. what happened the last 2 weeks, which showed us nothing.
  13. That's funny...
  14. Anyone remember ROJORULES(?).. He (or she) forever defended ROJO and the great decisions made from playing the Tennessee game (the gutsiest performance by a Bill ever), to Greg Williams choosing him to blaming the offensive line, yad yada yada.... Has he disappeared or is he on the NY Giants board saying they should bench Eli and promote RJ to starter????
  15. 6-3 wins on the way to a 7-9 season???? No thanks. I guess if it meant the Superbowl, then I'd watch come the playoffs and TIVO every game..... You are a true fan.....
  16. Frankly the Indy & GB games were as boring as I've ever seen, especially the offence. GB we had a nice pass and an exciting Int... The Indy game was like death by a hundred cuts. Yes if we somehow won, which could probably have happened by Indy driving 75 yards if Lindell made the FG and then Indy fumbles a snap on their fg attempt (hypothetical). Otherwise the game was as bad as I've ever seen. Our defense bent (380 yards allowed), but Indy moved the ball up and down the field, stopping them only 4 times (3 punts & a 31 yard fg). The offense as I've stated had no interest in scoring or applying any pressure whatsoever. Sorry I would have been so much happier to see a 31-27 loss vs. Indy with the offense scoring then if we won 19-17. Of course this would change if we were in the playoff hunt or this was a playoff game. For a 2-5 team (prior to the GB game). I want to enjoy my 3 hours Sunday afternoon. I have only liked the first NE game, til the defence couldn't stop NE the final 6:15 (sound familiar?), the Jets game & Minnesota.
  17. I hated the win.... Add to that I don't like Pittsburgh and homefield was a key to their superbowl run added to the fact. It we had won vs. Indy last week too, with that putrid excuse for an offensive gameplan, which was pretty much the same as our plan vs. GB, I'd hate to think the rest of the season game plan was 10-15 passes, under 4 yards rushing per attempt, a defence allowing 400 yards and hoping for ints and fumbles would have been depressing...
  18. Great.... How long will that take????
  19. Stoopid math says if he threw the leauge average 33 times (last 2 weeks) he would have been 23/33 for 211 yards and no turnovers and we'd be pretty happy with those #'s. Let's ignore the sacks, since they were all blind side and the o-lines fault. Point is we are going no where and learning nothing on 13 passes....
  20. I'm talking leadership on the sidelines when they are not on the field and how he has handled situations like the Jets game when they recovered the onside kick and they looked lost.... He has not looked confident or seemed to exhibit any presence. A leader gathers his team and does not looked panicked. I hope I am wrong, because if he is not the QB and I would want Quinn drafted, I doubt it... The idea of another Bledsoe or RJ makes me shudder. Flutie was a fluke, probably signed only to appease the Southern Ontario fan base and then we screwed that up as well.
  21. Point is we are learning nothing about JP at this point. The offensive schemes have been pathetic and we are upset that he is completing 60% of his passes. I am not defending him as I've also seen some terrible game management and a lack of leadership. However the past 2 weeks the game plan has been so pathetic as to make the team almost unwatchable...
  22. There is the crux.... How long did people argue how good RJ would be with a O-Line? We'd be sorry to see him go.... Greg Williams watched 100's of hours of tape and made the right decision getting rid of the "midget". Then we heard the same about Drew Bledsoe and Dallas would appreciate him and you'd see how he was a victim of our lousy O-line.... Well JP may be just as bad as those 2, maybe worse... but not letting him move in the pocket, run some shotgun and throwing only 13 times a game is going to show us nothing!!!!
  23. Everything we did right the first drive was thrown out the window when we reached the 10 yard line. The offence, which showed it could move the ball and complete passes (first drive), gave up everytime we reached the redzone. Heck we even ran a fake punt and then in their territory gave up running on third and 4 and then punting from the Indy 40. Give the defence some credit... They gave up huge yards, but kept everything in front of them. However they allowed Indy to without breaking a sweat hold the ball the last 6:22. We were never ahead after 3-0. Got a lucky break on the McGee fumble return (bouncing perfectly into his hands and returned for a TD). As soon as we tied the game, they marched right down and scored. We made 2 defensive stops the second half and did force the fumble, but made little attempt to win...You are not beating Indy scoring 6 offensive points. Indy scored only 14 points vs Tennessee and had very little offence vs. Jacksonville. They are still not clicking on all cylinders. It was as frustrating and embarrassing (on the offensive side) game as I've ever watched.
  24. 17-16 and I hated every minute of the game. The defense played well, bend but don't break mentality and the offensive game plan seemed to only be "please don't let us fumble it" and maybe we get luck and can eat up 3-4 minutes.... I was hoping Indy would go uyp by 10 and we'd at least be forced to try something. I really think the team bet the under on Sunday..... Better check the Vegas books for any big bets coming out of Buffalo...
  25. Jeff George could also be available.... We need a character guy!!!!
