  1. Good point! Even Schobel had stated a few weeks back that he feels the defensive plan needs to be scaled down a bit to more basic stuff.
  2. But...but...but... he's a HERO!, dont you remember?
  3. So if a maniac with a gun gets caught before entering a stadium, do you honestly believe no lives were saved? If even one life is saved, is that not worth going through this preventive measure?
  4. Just to clarify, you do realize Gilbride is with the NY Giants, not with parcells in Dallas? But its close enough anyway since he is working under an old Parcells crony in Coughlin.
  5. And lest we forget good ole Mike Pucillo.
  6. Well if my name was Kevin Gilbride, I would have Willis attempt a pass. BRILLIANT!
  7. ...he said as he was sacked!
  8. Just her way of trying to get you to do some house chores instead of watching the games. Dont cave in!
  9. One things for sure, Moulds and all the rest of the veterans will have no excuse now if their performance isnt up to par. I would have liked to have seen some of these veterans who supported the move also state that they need to improve their performance in order to win. I cant see how JP's performance affected the defense's ability to stop 3rd down conversions, but maybe it was the bad vibes or something.
  10. Must be haunted by the #1 pick of Tony Hunter.
  11. This is something that irked me. You're right, he's being groomed to be a LT, but yet they keep putting him as tackle-eligible, which is pretty much another TE on a 2 TE-set. So they must have some regard for his pass catching ability, yet they continue their insistence on him being a tackle. I know there have been murmurs about his low IQ and everything, but jeez, doesnt being a tackle require having to understand complex blocking schemes? I mean, if the guy can catch, and run block and has some decent foot speed, why not let him be the TE? Its not like where utilizing the other guys that much anyway.
  12. One things for sure, EM is probably 90% outta here next year due to his cap number. If he doesnt produce with this switch, then its 100%.
  13. It would be nice to see some more emphasis on the O-line. Its pretty downright disgraceful when you look at our line, man by man: LT - a swingman who was cut by Chicago, of all teams. LG - an overweight road-grader who cant pass block. Baltimore, a run-first team, made no effort to re-sign him. C - Another swingman, from Denver, one of the better O-line teams for years. They made a lukewarm effort to retain him. RG - Solid IMO. I have no problem with Villy. RT - 4 yrs and counting, waiting for the #4 overall to blossom to his full potential. Is it any wonder any QB, whether its Drew, JP or whoever, has limited success behind this 'wall of granite'? Time for some major infusion of talent in this group.
  14. LOL - I'd forgotten that post. That was a classic!
  15. I can just see the new shirts for next year: "DO YOU BILLIEVE..." in the front, "...the suckers fell for it again!" in the back.
  16. Look forward to the 2006 Draft. Plenty of 'great' o-linemen we'll wind up picking in rounds 5 - 7.
  17. I certainly dont wish KH craps out or the team loses this Sunday, but I honestly think neither will do well and this experiment will only last one game. Just a hunch.

  19. If benching him 'mentally damages' him, then we would want another QB!
  20. With the Jets and Dolphins defense, I wouldnt say thats going to be easy. The way the Dolphins are implementing Saban's blitzing scheme would make JPs head spin like a top. This isnt all JP's fault, the line is crappier than crap. But putting him in against the Dolphin D, at home where he would hear the boos, could probably do more damage than benching him. If the Bills lose to Miami this week, than I can see JP being reinserted for the Jet game.
  21. Good post. And lets face it, how long will Holcomb remain the starter, especially with all the other problems on the team? I'm positive JP will be starting again after a game or two.
  22. Hmmm, if Peters were to start all 11 positions on offense, would that collectively raise his Wonderlic score to 11?
  23. And to think, we had D. Henning as OC at one time.
