Staten Island Yankees (A) Moving to Hudson Valley
Stevie Ray replied to Gugny's topic in Off the Wall
This sucks. The ballpark at St. George was a nice park and going there was always an experience - cheap beers, decent sausage & peppers and always great to see some up and coming talent. -
I was in Vegas for a few days this past August and was certainly appalled at the "dirtiness" of the strip. Still, it was an experience and I loved the area that I was staying in (Summerlin) to consider potentially moving there in the coming years (Phoenix area and So Cal are also under consideration). Is Summerlin as bad?

Amazing. A few weeks ago everyone here is talking about McD being COY consideration and bad mouthing Vrabel. Now its pitchforks and torches for McD and songs of praise and bouquets of flowers for Vrabel. The past few years have been an improvement and this team despite the bumps still has a promising future. Yes there is still work to be done, they are not finished yet.

What are your feelings on Joe Douglas? Should he get the boot, or be given a chance to show if he can hire a good HC and conduct another draft?
-
LOL, same here. No matter what I do I slice or push-slice on my drives. Ruins what could be good rounds for me!

Si, Seniore. Los Bills to play in ‘MeHIco’?
Stevie Ray replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I could actually see a better chance of it being either the LA Rams or SF, drawing more people by having one of the past two SB contenders (albeit losers) as the visiting opponent. -
And played it over and over and over ?

To be fair, it took 8 seasons as HC on his third team for Pete Carroll to win a Super Bowl. McD just completed his 3rd season and has reached the playoffs 2 out of those 3. Oh and their records in their first 3 seasons as HC - identical at 25-23. Sure Carroll is much more accomplished, but he also has been HC for 14 seasons so it should be expected that he is much more accomplished given his tenure.

Tyrod Taylor Could Be Chargers New Starting QB
Stevie Ray replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
".... Brett Favre left Green Bay. Joe Montana left the 49ers. Peyton Manning left Indy. It happens." I bet he was dying to include Tom Brady in that statement ?. -

Josh Allen - week SEVEN report card
Stevie Ray replied to rayray808's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Honestly. "We won...but I'm not happy about it!" LOL. -
It may not make sense, but it does seem to be the norm these days as far as the backup not getting any reps, or barely any during the week. And in Daniel Jones case, it doesn't seem to have hurt him so far: https://www.nj.com/giants/2019/08/the-mistake-giants-simply-cant-make-after-qb-daniel-jones-great-preseason-whats-next-for-rookie.html

More Tom Brady protection by the league
Stevie Ray replied to LABILLBACKER's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah i dont get this, the other thread was talking about Giselle's weird rituals with Tom. What you posted is totally different. I guess we need to read every single page of that thread to know this topic was going to be in it???? ? -
Jim Rome: The New Kings of New York
Stevie Ray replied to John Gianelli's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jim Rome makes me fall off my chair: hah you just beat me to it! -
I think its too soon to label him mediocre. Not saying he's great either, but I see potential in him to be a good QB. Full disclosure: I did want him to be drafted by the Bills but certainly was not dissapointed with Josh as the pick. But just as a football fan I think he can be better than mediocre.

Bills *almost* sign P Britton Colquitt
Stevie Ray replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Plenty of other options available that are still better than Bojo.
