  1. And the plastic casing is no joy either! Practically need a sawz-all to cut through it. And my daughter got 5 Bratz dolls to boot!
  2. Nice observations and nice gesture taking your dad. I can imagine how tough the holiday must be for him, hopefully this helped to divert a little. May you and yours enjoy the holidays!
  3. Makes you want to take a shower, doesnt it?
  4. Same here, never a problem to the games I've gone to. Everybody has a right to wear their team colors and celebrate on good plays when you're at the opponent's home, but you gotta use a little common sense and show some level of respect too.
  5. Why, yew should be slapped just fer using dem fancy words 'round here!
  6. I am interpreting correctly that according to the article Starks, Davis and Gandy are the top 3 FA linemen? Over guys like Steinbach, Dielman, and Manuwai?
  7. So does Eddie!
  8. Shaud Williams?
  9. Thanks. Looks like they are hurting at LB depth then. I know Coy was a linebacker in college, but he's too small in the big leauges.
  10. Wow, either the backups are all injured or they must suck extremely for Wire to be put in there!
  11. Was Wire playing linebacker?
  12. Gotta stop the run. Thats the #1 priority of the off season.
  13. We're all youngsters here, we dont know what you're talking about pops!
  14. Kudos to JP for hitting the short passes and bringing back the team after a score.
  15. Interestingly, he doesnt seem to have the "veteran support" this time: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/foot...o.ap/index.html
  16. Sexual nickname: Purple Helmeted Warrior of Love
  17. Carolina.
  18. Like our inability to stop the run, our inability to generate consistent pressure on the QB, getting faked out by the WRs, making bone-headed 15 yard penalties, etc? Those too?
  19. "(Chris) Chambers was demonstrative in voicing his displeasure to wide receivers coach Charlie Baggett about about Miami's offense in general and his lack of involvement in it in particular." Gee, this kind of rings a bell! Its The Mularkey Effect!
  20. Thanks all for the suggestions. Lots of researching I'm going to have to do. BTW, i should have mentioned my neighbor's kid is a big 16 year old, so I think we'll be relying on him to keep us safe!
  21. I got tickets to the Green Bay game and going up Sat nite with my neighbor and his son (2 GB fans). The last time I went up to Buffalo for a game was about 20 years ago so I dont remember much of the area. I'm looking at hotels in the area for the overnight stay, nothing fancy but no roach motel either. In particular, Best Western Norstar, a few minutes from the airport, about 20 miles from the stadium. Rate of about $64. Anyone have any experience with this place, or any other suggestions for that matter? Also looking to enjoy some of the famous local fare and drink Saturday night (where exactly I dont know, open to suggestions on that too), so proximity to hotel is desired. Appreciate any and all recommendations, thanks!
  22. Dounce?
  23. Worse was not being able to stop the run, starting with the 2nd qtr and the rest of the game. Once the Jets were running successfully, it seems they stopped blitzing and relied on the 4 man rush which was useless today.
  24. Excellent analysis, I agree with all your points and feel the same about watching them. I think this will be the case this year, an emotional roller coaster, as long as they show improvement as the year progresses.
