  1. Am I famous now? Honestly, I really DID like his tell-it-like-it-is style before he got so condecending. ...And how I WISH I had an IQ of 50. American society is currently geared toward that segment of the population.
  2. Way to dodge the intended question.
  3. Well, I guess because I really don't revel in other team's misery unless my team is not miserable. I'm more happy that we won than I would have been if we'd lost, but I feel this org. has (is) run(ing) this team into the ground. And the longer the fans continue to be satisfied with this type of front office...ing, and continue to buy tickets, the longer I have to deal with a 2nd-3rd tier NFL team. I do realize that ticket sales make a difference in the team staying put, and I'll listen to srguements on that, but this team hasn't made the playoffs in forever, and seems more concerned with throwing the fans a few bones here and there rather than building a champion.
  4. Wow..."embecile"? Really? Bully for you. Those younger players really looked good "standing up" on the bench. We have had a few injuries this year, but so have many teams. This team is NOT good. And that is the bottom line.
  5. Of course, no one who criticises a team should EVER be a fan. We should all be "rooting robots". I'm going to coin that term, I think. I'm not sure anyone is really disappointed in KH. I know that I'm not. My contention is that this team, even with Steve Young, is going nowhere. They simply are not good enough. And the bill of goods the fans were sold concerning that issue is upsetting.
  6. I agree on all points.
  7. LOL...Really? He's the only one I ever see that actually saying anything that's not scripted by the team. And if he wasn't original, why do you single him out all the time?
  8. I think it's a little more than not getting what he wants, but fair enough. I equally hate when the media uses "kid gloves" on the team, and all you hear is propaganda.
  9. I didn't see him ripping Holcomb, I saew him say that the Bills were not making the playoffs and should look to develop the future. You OMFG WE WON AND NOW EVERYTHING ELSE MUST BE IGNORED people are something else.
  10. What's wrong with that line of questioning? Whatever you think of JS, he IS a journalist, right? I don't blame him for being frustrated with this org's refusal to give the fans any info.
  11. ...and I still really like Jerry Sullivan, though I'm sure that will draw the ire of many here. But when the hell did he decide that he had to be a condecending jackass to every caller that expresses an opinion on the post game show? I realize that marriage can ruin your life, but geez. Aparently he thinks we all should be fellatiating the Bills after today's performance, and anyone with a complaint is either drunk or doesn't watch football. Here's a big "SCREW YOU" to a real ass. Maybe if you didn't talk over every caller, they might be able to back up the opinions that you consider to be so baseless.
  12. Remember when Parrish's injury was no biggie? He'll be ok by the regular season, and at worst by game 2... Really? We're at game 5 and he's still doubtful. It's looking like we've lost another rookie season to injury. We've at least lost any connection/rapport Roscoe and JP could have established. This organization is such a mess right now, it's a wonder how some of these guys are professionals.
  13. I think Losman played badly against the Saints, but I also think he's played better in each game since the mess in Tampa Bay. Keep tweaking the gameplan until you get to something he CAN handle, and then start adding complexity from there. If you have to call 10 QB draws a game to get JP going, then you do it if winning this season is so important. Hell, start running the option if you need to. They should have tried to find a crazy way to win with Losman rather than make a crazy lineup change that could stunt the organization for years to come.
  14. Agreed...I'm not saying I would absolutely hate a 9-7 season and a 4-seed, one-and-done, playoff "ride", but that's what Bledsoe could have done, right? I want a title, and unless they think it can happen this year, they should be looking forward. If this organization has ANY faith left that Losman is a first round talent, he should be in there moving toward the point in time where he can play like it.
  15. 1) The Bills win the SB this year (or at least get deep into the playoffs). 2) KH becomes the NFL's next rags-to-riches story and turns out to be a top teir QB. What else could make this move a success? I think it's crazy, but who knows. It just seems so short-sighted to me.
  16. I agree with a lot of what you say, but not the defense. How many times has this defense shown that they are a very good, but not great unit? The problem is that they'll never be able to win a big game for us on their own, which is something a great defense MUST be able to do. The coaching will get better. JP will get MUCH better. The defense will remain solid. There is a lot of room for hope.
  17. That's human nature, isn't it? For most, I imagine it's a way of hedging their bets. If the team wins, they are wrong but happy. If the team loses, at least they can vent their anger from their perceived high ground. Also, people "grieve" in their own way. The younger generations have been trending (is that a word?) toward expressing their anger through making others feel bad, older generations tend clam up, and the hippies in the middle tend to be blind optimists. I expected our offense to not do well this week, but I didn't expect it to look this bad. I also thought our defense would finally show up for a big game on the road. I hope the offense improves as fast as I hoped they would. The defense...Well, what we see is pretty much what we'll get.
  18. I like this one...A little meat on her bones.
  19. Oh, it's all good. The 10 minutes I've spent on this post (and looking for babe pt. 1) kept me from both work AND thoughts about yesterday's debacle. That alone is worthy of praise. Hopefully this will be a suppliment rather than a distraction most weeks this year.
  20. I liked your first BotD, so I didn't need a part deux. The new one will appeal to the masses more, I'm sure, but she's too cookie cutter for me. Don't get me wrong, she's still beautiful. This pic looks like it could be Shania Twain, or some pics of Carmen Electra, or even a VERY early Cindy Crawford shot. There's not much original about it, unlike the first one you chose. Stick with the gameplan!
  21. I'm no optimist. I had little hope going into last season (and was pleasantly surprised with the late run), but I have trouble finding more than 1 loss in our first 7 games. All teams have concerns and issues going into the year. Obviously, our issues are glaring and there is a lot less reason to think they'll turn out ok than those of teams with less unknowns. Still, there's no reason to think that this young offense wont make improvements as the year goes on. It may not be enough to make the playoffs, but it might be. I would have to think Vegas, were it forced to put lines on every week's games right now, would have the Bills as favorites in the first 6. The road trip to Oakland doesn't worry me at all for some reason either. If this team crashes and burns, it'll be in the second half of the season. By that time, if the offense hasn't gotten some confidence and/or figured out how to play as a decent unit, we could easily stumble, but probably not to 6-10. This defense is too good to lose that many games, IMO. Although come to think of it, I guess our last 6-10 season went something like that...
  22. I agree...Gimmick is the only word that comes to mind. Though, if it helps the sport, I can deal with it.
  23. Tom Leykis was supposed to come to Buffalo this summer...I wonder if those plans have been scrapped.
  24. In reality, unless nearly every conference tourney is won by a "lock", the Bulls have no shot. The commitee has already stated both that the RPI has changed AND it will be relying less upon it this year. UB's high RPI will not save them since there is no way they can be defended as being "better" or "more deserving" than teams like Georgia Tech, Texas, Notre Dame, and UCLA (although I could at least listen to that one). Even fellow MAC member Akron has a better resume than the Bulls (higher RPI, better conference record, 6-5 vs. the RPI top 100 [uB is 4-8], head-to-head victory). In short, even a victory against Akron and a run to the MAC finals LIKELY wont be enough for the Bulls. There are too many mid-majors with strong RPIs this year compared to normal. In the end, the Bulls don't belong anyway. They are a good team, and definately NIT worthy, but not one of the top 30-40 teams in the country.
