  1. Moorman's horrendous shanks in OT didn't help matters, either Edit: the last shank was 26 yards...LOL
  2. and not a single designed run. WTF, Chan?
  3. laying the lumber on Cincinnati on the road -- 31-7 with about 5:00 left in the 4th. Looks like they'll be 6-2, and only one win away from bowl eligibility, with wins on the road against USF, WVU and Cincinnati. They're not a national power yet, but Coach Marrone has the program headed in the right direction, after the disastrous Greg Robinson era (and the equally disastrous end of the Pasqualoni era).
  4. The Wire.
  5. I say they finish with 3 wins, maybe 4.
  6. no, it obviously wasn't the same OL, as Cordaro Howard started this past week. You may not have been trying to make excuses for Edwards, but I think that plenty others were. In fact, a couple of Edwards' ardent defenders appear to have mysteriously disappeared from TBD since, oh, last Sunday at about 4:00 pm. IMO, an intelligent, decisive and confident QB can, at times, mask below-average OL play.
  7. Watched Mallett a few times, and I haven't really seen him complete any "tough" passes - throws between defenders that require good accuracy or touch. He seems to be a whiner, to boot. That said, I don't think that Fitzpatrick is the QB of the future (exponentially better than Edwards, though that's not saying much). What happened to everyone who was saying earlier this year, in a lame attempt to defend Edwards' pathetic QB play, that no QB could be effective behind the Bills' OL?
  8. he's still dumb
  9. No idea. He seemed on edge in the NLCS (really didn't pitch well at all), and that play was downright stupid
  10. Lincecum is as dumb as he looks.
  11. pretty funny, IMO http://weblogs.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/blog/2010/10/flaccos_new_jersey_shore_haircut.html
  12. me too. I'll never root against the Bills, but a big day by Rice is inevitable
  13. Lee is not a #2. I'd take him over CC in a heartbeat.
  14. Meriweather often leads with his helmet when hitting. He actually did the same thing earlier in the Ravens game (on Heap's TD), but whiffed. He did the same thing on McKelvin's fumble last year on MNF. Not the best angle, but I vividly remember the play http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5MHtdcQstA
  15. absolutely not. Post # 31 http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/121447-who-wouldnt-you-cut/page__st__20
  16. Utley has been far worse than Howard. His defense the last two post-seasons has a certain Sax/Knoblauch feel to it. Been pretty bad with the bat so far this year too
  17. Geez. This kind of puts things in perspective. I'll say a prayer for your friend and his family.
  18. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
  19. like smelling your own farts after a long night of draft beer and greasy wings?
  20. Interesting point. During the SF/PHI baseball game, they mentioned that DJax's concussion was "severe" and that he was suffering from memory loss. Doesn't sound like a short term thing. That said, not sure how much they'd surrender for Evans, considering his salary, and the fact that they spent a 1st on Maclin just last year
  21. I think that the problem is that George Edwards instructs the DE/OLB to count to "Three Mississippi" before they begin to rush the opposing QB
  22. I'd love to see a home/road split of Neil Smith's and Derrick Thomas's sacks. They seemed to terrorize opposing QBs at Arrowhead, and disappeared on the road.
  23. Big time cheap shot by Merriweather on Heap LOL @ Edelman catching a punt over his shoulder at the 5.
  24. how is that not a catch by Mason?
