  1. I don't think that most, let alone "everyone", is assuming that the Bills would have scored on that drive. But I would have liked to have seen what they would have done in that situation, with the ball in Bengals' territory. Maybe they burn a minute or two, and then punt the ball. Bengals got the ball back with 1:48 left.
  2. I'm saying that it shouldn't have been ruled incomplete on the field to begin with. I can't believe that people are still defending the refs with respect to that abortion of a call.... (ETA: Not directed to you, BmoreBills)
  3. so he was shielded from the play by Johnson (partially) and the Bengals' DB?
  4. forget about the replay - why was it called incomplete on the field? which official called it, and how far away from the play was he?
  5. I'm sensing a trend with your posts b44
  6. damn, I was going to make a "Members Only" reference!
  7. you should change your screen name to "In Post No One Should Read"
  8. With just over 2:30 left, and AZ up 3, Victor Cruz fumbled (he went down, without being touched, and then dropped the ball), but was ruled down. On the next play, Manning hit Nicks for the GW TD. These officials are !@#$ing clowns.
  9. it's really pathetic to see those who haven't posted on TSW for a lengthy period suddenly reappear to gloat after a loss. Must be miserable pricks.
  10. True. But I've learned by reading this forum today that the NFL officials don't blow calls.
  11. did you see any evidence that the ball was dropped, or that it hit the ground without SJ having control?
  12. yeah, the NFL is infallible. So you thought that the pass to SJ was incomplete?
  13. incompetence? I really would like to know what led to the play being called incomplete on the field.
  14. on TSW in weeks magically crawl out from under their rocks (and bridges) and post after a loss?
  15. Monkey, I never mentioned any sort of conspiracy. Like NFL officials, you are pulling things out of our ass. They did a horrible job today. Not sure why everyone feels the need to defend them.
  16. you're clearly not very bright, so I will direct you to my first post in this thread - I acknowledged how poorly the defense played. However, that doesn't excuse the horrendous job by the officials. I will not be quitting my day job - unless I get an offer to be an NFL referee. Seems like a great gig - minimal time commitment, good pay, and you can !@#$ up regularly without consequence or accountability.
  17. on TSW in weeks magically crawl out from under their rocks (and bridges) and post after a loss?
  18. Really? Wow.... Do you think that the Bengals would have challenged the call had it been ruled complete on the field? Why didn't the ref offer any sort of explanation as to why the ruling on the field was confirmed?
  19. Come on, pisswater. Just answer the questions. These referees are paid handsomely to do their (part-time) jobs. They should he held accountable.
  20. what did you think of the officiating today? Did you think that the officiating affected the outcome of the game at all?
  21. Did Raiders fans have a right to be "angry" about the "Tuck Rule" play with Woodson & Brady?
  22. according to Jerry Sullivan, I bet it will.
