I don't think that most, let alone "everyone", is assuming that the Bills would have scored on that drive. But I would have liked to have seen what they would have done in that situation, with the ball in Bengals' territory.
Maybe they burn a minute or two, and then punt the ball. Bengals got the ball back with 1:48 left.
I'm saying that it shouldn't have been ruled incomplete on the field to begin with.
I can't believe that people are still defending the refs with respect to that abortion of a call.... (ETA: Not directed to you, BmoreBills)
With just over 2:30 left, and AZ up 3, Victor Cruz fumbled (he went down, without being touched, and then dropped the ball), but was ruled down.
On the next play, Manning hit Nicks for the GW TD.
These officials are !@#$ing clowns.
Monkey, I never mentioned any sort of conspiracy. Like NFL officials, you are pulling things out of our ass.
They did a horrible job today. Not sure why everyone feels the need to defend them.
you're clearly not very bright, so I will direct you to my first post in this thread - I acknowledged how poorly the defense played.
However, that doesn't excuse the horrendous job by the officials.
I will not be quitting my day job - unless I get an offer to be an NFL referee. Seems like a great gig - minimal time commitment, good pay, and you can !@#$ up regularly without consequence or accountability.
Really? Wow....
Do you think that the Bengals would have challenged the call had it been ruled complete on the field?
Why didn't the ref offer any sort of explanation as to why the ruling on the field was confirmed?
