  1. Haha. I loved that BS. Geno Smith: Leader of men. Disclaimer: I might be racist.
  2. He suffered multiple concussions at A & M
  3. Smith seems like a good fit for the Jets. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/eye-on-football/22151937/geno-smith-jets-are-going-to-the-playoffs-next-year
  4. Bray and Tannehill on the Dolphins: 2nd best QB duo in NFL history?
  5. Zack Chibane, OL, Syracuse signed with Buffalo per his Twitter account
  6. Should have traded that 5th for Skelton, or drafted Bray, right?
  7. Exactly - and I've been saying as much since last fall.
  8. Smith won't have 1/50th the career of Thurman Thomas or Aaron Rodgers. Those guys are competitors.
  9. Yeah, Smith has a great track record of success against Marrone-coached teams. When the chips are down, Geno Smith is your man, haha. Composure, tenacity, leadership, competitive - he is the total package.
  10. Geno Smith is going to have a nervous breakdown playing in NYC
  11. He really does act like a child sometimes, with his pouting and inability to handle adversity, This is the guy you want to lead your offense?
  12. Bills had better tune up their screen pass defense! Geno Smith will crumble under the NYC media spotlight
  13. Yeah, that's it. Or maybe it's because they're both WVU products who put up gaudy numbers in wide-open college offenses....
  14. Geno Smith is the next Pat White, minus the running ability.
  15. Ouch. Mihalic did a really good job at NU.
  16. Grosse Point Blank Pretty In Pink Trainspotting
  17. Considering how poorly SU (ahem, MCW, BT and Southerland) played, and the fact that they were right in the game until the end, that was an incredibly tough way to lose. I thought that the charge calls against MCW and BT late in the game were garbage, but that paled in comparison to the "block" call on MCW. Sure didn't seem like we got any of those 50/50 calls down the stretch. I did think that UM scored a number of easy baskets, either the result of good ball movement, or 2nd (and in some cases, 3rd and 4th) chances. To me, it just seemed like on D, SU lacked energy. I noticed that on a number of possessions, they had their hands down, and their feet weren't moving. Perhaps some of UM's deep 3s discouraged them? Once again, the alumni support was incredible. I saw the following at the game, in the SU section: DC (of course), John Wallace, Moten/Bubbles, Hak Warrick, Matt Gorman, Danny Schayes, Dion Waiters, Dave Bing (very cool of the Mayor of Detroit to rock the Orange against UM), Allen Griffin, Uber tool Brandon Reese, Sean McDonough, Howard Triche, Damone Brown...I'm sure that I'm missing a few names. Rob Murphy was also there, although he is technically not alumni. I also saw former Canisius HC Mike MacDonald, Mike Lupica and the Papa John's guy roaming around the aisles in our section. Also ran into Eric Wood, sporting UL garb, during halftime of the Louisville game. I saw him (obviously, the guy is pretty recognizable) and said "Go Bills!". He looked at me, kind of surprised, and said "Yeah, man!". I asked about his knee, he said that he was doing fine, and I wished him good luck for the upcoming season. As I was walking away, I said "Go Cuse!", and he chuckled. Seemed like a cool dude. What a rollercoaster season this was. The last 3 weeks were pretty damn awesome.
  18. Moten looks like Bubbles.
  19. I compared Smith to an effeminate white guy, FWIW.
  20. He's the Jason Pominville of QBs. Numbers look good, but he's soft, and MIA when it really counts. Not a leader of men.
  21. I do enjoy watching Duke fail. Actually, "fail" is generous, considering their performance today. They got their asses kicked.
