First, if Manning gets hurt, I would imagine that the Colts will have Sorgi play QB, not Painter.
Regarding Hasselbeck, he never started a game in GB. He went 13-32 for 155 yards. My guess is that Holmgren was familiar with Hasselbeck from his days in GB, and wanted him in Seattle.

I don't put any stock into this, but it is kind of funny to see the Bills drafting a 218-lb OLB in the first round
Funny that this thread is longer than the stickied threads for the selections of Wood & Levitre.
And some fans claim that Bills Management & Coaches are obsessed with DBs....
It's the same song & dance they've trotted out with some of their other late round OL "gems" - Sullivan, McFarland, Allotey, Merz, Pennington, Sobieski, Pucillo, Spriggs, etc...
How did they work out?
Well, I've seen Parker-Wilson play on a number of occasions, and I think he sucks. His arm makes Willy's look like a howitzer. Painter, eh, nothing more than a backup.
Point is, none of us know whether these late round picks (or the early ones, for that matter) will pan out. I just think that to dismiss the picks as "wastes" solely because of their position is misguided. I'd much rather draft a DB than a P, K or LS. But that's just me.
OK, I'm going to be "that guy"..."most depthed"???
I just don't see the point in getting all fired up about 6th and 7th rounders. It's not like the Bills drafted a fictitious player, like the Sabres did.
How many layups can Glen Davis possibly miss?
Also, Paul Pierce has come up incredibly small at the important times in both of the Celts losses this series (missed FTs, turnover, missed shots)
