I hate to say this cause I like the style of play from Marshawn the toughness and all. But as an overall player....I dont like him. He has a terrible problem trying to catch the ball out of the backfield, he drops more passes then he catches. He rarely finds holes that are there. Honestly, I think Fred Jackson is just as good as Lynch. I think we can cut ties with Lynch grab draft picks and be on our way.......

Chances of getting Matt Birk
marauderswr80 replied to BeastMode54's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like all three Birk, Saturday & Brown. Im leaning towards Brown.....why? Youth, health & much more time to play at a high level. I mean Birk & Saturday would really help the team for the short run, Brown on the other hand would be a long term fix at the center spot. I mean with Brown you have youth, health and a very quality player all around. Age is slowly working against Birk & Saturday. Although, if Alex Mack can be had 2nd round, id love to see Jeff Saturday come in for a year or 2 and mentor Mack. -
Cushing Looking Like a Solid Option
marauderswr80 replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Raji would be tough to pass on......if he is there, I think we have to take him over any DE. But dont forget free agency will be starting soon. That should really tell us all the direction of the Bills draft. -
After watching a lot of the combine
marauderswr80 replied to BeastMode54's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought Orakpo was a step ahead of all the other DE's at the combine. I mean, Maybin, Brown looked great, but Orakpo just looked like he had a step on all of them. Another guy that keeps getting my attention is Michael Johnson. -
Yeah he was just released. I wouldnt mind him with the Bills. I know hes older. But, I think he still has a good 2 years left in him. My ONLY concern is that Manning made him a much better player, and having Reggie Wayne on the other side helps.....

Cushing Looking Like a Solid Option
marauderswr80 replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Im still high on the DE's, Orakpo, Brown, Maybin....But Cushing is a great player. Orakpo just looks to be a step ahead of everyone else. -
This is a tough one for a couple reasons. First, his holdout last year was his fault, he should have showed and helped the team. I think it hurt his play half the year. He did come on strong end of the year and played well. Well enough to earn that Pro Bowl spot? Im not soo sure....Does he deserve to be paid, yeah I think so...... Now here is a major question....when he was holding out the front office stated they wont talk contracts with players who are not with the team. So...the Bills brass stand ground, Peters reports. Now during the 2008 season, the front office failed to live up to its word about talking new contract with Peters. Now we have a stand still on both ends. We have heard nothing from either side about a contract. Whats that mean? It means Peters will holdout once again for even a longer period of time or create enough of a distraction for the team he forces the Bills to trade him, which wont shock me at all. Matter of fact thats what I expect. I honestly dont think Jason Peters will be on the Bills roster come 2009 season. He will either be traded or holdout. Which I dont agree with, cause he should honor the contract he signed before. But on the other hand the powers that be never lived up to their word. So whos to blame here? Both are really..... But in the end, Peters reported to the team and the front office never spoke to him about a new deal....... Caution this thing will get ugly when camp rolls around. Keep an eye out during FA, that could be a sign of whats to come!

Fewell: Moving Poz outside an option
marauderswr80 replied to JoeF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Poz on the outside? Marcus Stroud can cover TE's better then POZ, dude looks like he has bricks on his feet chasing someone down.... -
I wouldnt be shocked to see a team in the first round gamble on him solely on his knowledge of the game and his skills. I think a team will grab him round 1 if not round 2. NOWAY hes there in round 4!

Losman caught wearing Bears uniform.
marauderswr80 replied to R!P REVOLUTIONARIES's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thats not Losman with the guitar.....That dude is actually holding onto it. Now if the guitar was laying on the ground with him looking at it, then id say thats Losman. -
Depends on all the facts. As I dont really know them....but from what I have heard thus far, gun, smell of weed in the car. I question what he has been doing in order to pack heat, I wonder about the people he is with.....I have to admit im very disapointed in Lynch. I think he should serve a 4 game suspension based on the real facts. Buffalo better resign Freddy Jackson.

Tim Graham's Buffalo Bills Hot Button
marauderswr80 replied to lets_go_bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That front office has pushed fans away......im one of them. I honestly can careless what happens with them right now......sad to see Lynch get busted, classic case of dumbmode being stupid. Anyways the organization as a whole has a long ways to go to grab my attention again. -
Is This What the Bills Are Coming to be?
marauderswr80 replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We are heading in that direction with a team that sucks and players that get arrested.......honestly, im almost to the point where I can careless what happens to the Bills, if they move, sold whatever.......I almost just dont give a damn anymore. -
Combine Attendees Should be in the Starting Block
marauderswr80 replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wouldnt draft a WR, but I would sign one such as Mike Furrey! -
I dont blame the guy at all. I mean look at what happen to Sean Taylor who was killed, plus there are several other NFL players that were held at gun point and robbed. You have to look at the persons status in this world, Lynch is a wealthy man, there are many people is this world that would kill to have a life like his literally! With the poor economy out there, I can really see people turning to violence to get something they desperately need. I keep protection in my house as well to protect my family, only difference is, is that mine is legal cause I have a license. Thats where Lynch went wrong. He should have obtained a license to carry a firearm..... Do I blame the guy for wanting to protect himself NO, do I blame him for going about it the wrong way YES! But lets hope in the end this is some mix up, cause if its not he might be done for a few games in 2009. We might just start off 0-4 lose a coaching staff......blah blah blah.....but what else is new for Bills fans......
