  1. You just know Adam Schein will pick the Bears to destroy the Bills this Sunday and give Buffalo no chance whatsoever in this game. Well, that kind of prediction would be great for us because the Bills always do the opposite of what Adam picks. He said the Bills had no chance whatsoever in New England and we almost pulled out an upset. He predicted Dolphins trouncing the Bills in Miami - We Won! He predicted the Bills to win over the Jets - We Lost! He predicted the Vikings to win over the Bills - We Won! I'm just waiting for him to pick the Bears over the Bills. I'm hoping he will NOT pick the Bills as his UPSET SPECIAL and Jinx us. His Afternoon Blitz program is fantastic on channel 124. He has great interviews with Dick Jauron every Thursday afternoon. Please keep picking against the Bills Adam, ALL THE WAY TO THE SUPERBOWL!!!!
  2. What confusing statistics! On one hand, Moorman is among league leaders in punts downed inside the 20 (which is a huge stat). On the other hand, his gross avg. (40.6) is last in the AFC and not even in the top 30 among NFL kickers. His net avg. (37.8) is also one of the lowest and opposing teams are averaging double digit numbers (11.2) on punt returns. Although Moorman did have that one awesome game this year, do you think he is struggling a little or is it just the bad weather conditions combined with the small 4 game window of stats? I still think he is the best punter in the AFC but he has some competition for his All-Pro Spot this year.
  3. Regardless of how tough things were for McGahee to gain any significant yardage against those two big, tough, talented DT's, McGahee did a super job picking up the blitz and made up for things in that area. He laid out several awesome hits on charging lineman and Losman had no blind sided shots = NO TURNOVERS = BIG WIN! Losman is really starting to amaze me on some of these sharp throws/runs and is also making the right reads. All his receivers are getting involved and he made some beautiful throws which led to first downs after some stupid Bills penalties had originally pushed them back. The receivers all played a big part in the game with some incredible catches. Heck, even London Fletcher got involved in the passing game with his superb interception. How can you not be excited about the way the Bills have played this year. We have been in position to win each game at the end and 2-2 is not bad considering people had us pegged for 5-7 wins and rebuilding. Screw the rebuilding, the Bills are only getting better (on both sides of the ball) and Takeo hasn't even been playing! If the Bills continue to progress like this each week, the playoffs are definitely a distinct possibility. If we can win 2 out of our next 3, look out! I know one thing though, we will never be able to beat a Bears or Pats team with all these kind of stupid penalties. Those are the type of teams that will capitalize on our errors and we can't afford that. Go Bills!
  4. Cleveland always plays Baltimore tough in Cleveland, regardless of records going into the game. Raiders - Browns is a toss up with Raiders having home advantage only reason why I'm going with them but Cleveland winning wouldn't surprise me either with horrible quarterback situation in Oakland. I know one thing though, this is game nobody will want to watch - UGLY!

  6. Super feedback Bob! Yes, the weather looked horrible on T.V. as well and it was unreal with the timing involved..............just when we are making our final push. I think the line did a nice job as well and the only real protection breakdowns I saw was with McGahee failing to pick up the blitz two times. I also agree with the chemistry thing and I really feel Losman and the rest of the offensive are only going to get better with time. The way they are playing, I think it will be "sooner" rather then "later". Its much better these days in Bills country being IN every game right to the finish. JUST PLEASE FIND WAYS TO IMPROVE IN THE RED ZONE ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Bob, I forgot to ask you.........................were the receivers getting open on that last drive or did Losman just have no one to throw to on those last 3 plays?
  8. Totally right about the little extra cushion Bob, good point. I forgot about that one and yes you really don't know what could have happened.........but, the receiver could have even broke a tackle to get the first down. Just curious though, when you saw McGahee go up for that pass and land on his back with no chance of gaining yardage and (or) stopping the clock, didn't you say to yourself.....What are you doing??? I would have preferred Losman throw it at his feet incomplete or get out of the pocket and throw it away...........anything to stop the clock and regroup to get ready for the next attempt at a 1st down conversion. Anyway you slice it, Losman had some incredibally crappy conditions on that last drive and he looked pretty decent for someone with such little NFL experience. He looks alot different then the passer we saw from 2006 and I think he's starting to gain his teammates confidence. I know he's starting to gain mine.
  9. I agree with everything you said Simon, nice post. Considering the weather conditions, lack of experience, etc.... Losman did make some nice strides on Sunday. I really think its only a matter of time before the entire offense starts putting it all together and things really begin to click. Its alot better then seeing Bledsoe get dumped with the game on the line against a top defensive team over and over and over again.
  10. I can't stand Melrouse and those guys too but it has nothing to do with ESPN Fantasy Hockey and I'm also not gonna stop watching the channel to follow the best coverage of sports out there.
  11. If your able to grab a football well enough to haul that kind of pass in to your body for a complete catch, your able to knock the ball down to the turf ..............no ifs ands or buts. I've seen that play from time to time over the years (including during a Bills game) and players are usually well aware of the down, distance and time. They are taught to knock the ball down to stop the clock, avoid the negative play, and avoid the other team from intercepting. We should have still had more plays and 1:00 left on the clock, regardless of your views on some of the poor play calling or throws. Losman made some strong thows too considering the conditions he was dealing with. Oh well, it was definitely a learning experience all the way around and the Bills are definitely on the way up. I'l take Jauron and his coaching staff any day over Mularkey and Williams. At least we are competitive every game with a chance to win in the end. BILLS OVER VIKINGS 20-17 ON A LAST MINUTE FIELD GOAL.
  12. I agree, thats why I said he should have knocked the ball down to the ground and force the incomplete.
  13. I still can't figure out why McGahee tried so hard to catch that -3 yard pass when he had no chance of turning it into a gain and it also cost us our last timeout. Then, on 3rd down and 13, Losman finds Parrish for a 10 yard gain. So now we're 4th and 3 when in reality, if McGahee just knocked that negative pass play down to the ground.............we could have just made a first down AND then use our final time out. We could have still pulled out that game with 1:00 left on the clock and a first down at our own 45. I know alot of wishful thinking but it was definitely possible. What do you think?
