  1. Yeah, runnin' down a dream That never would come to me Workin' on a mystery, goin' wherever it leads Runnin' down a dream
  2. When you get up in the morning and the light is hurt your head The first thing you do when you get up out of bed Is hit that streets a-runnin' and try to beat the masses And go get yourself some cheap sunglasses
  3. We come from the land of the ice and snow From the midnight sun where the hot springs flow The hammer of the gods Will drive our ships to new lands To fight the horde, sing and cry Valhalla, I am coming
  4. Cold wind blows And Gods look down in anger, On this poor child Why so unforgiving and why so cold Been a long time crossing bridge of sighs ***if you don't know this song do yourself a favour and give it a listen
  5. Never had to patch and I’m primarily using mine off a sandy beach…valid concern though for sure. The material seems quite thick and durable and it bounces off stuff pretty well, so it would be difficult to get a puncture. I think my biggest fear is a mouse getting at it during winter storage.
  6. I bought an inflatable years ago and my sister bought a really nice hard board at the same time. I can take mine anywhere fairly easily. My sister had to struggle loading up her board in her big Explorer. One of us still has/uses their paddleboard...guess who? Maybe if you live right at the water a hard board is the way to go, but the convenience of the inflatable makes it a great option if you want to haul it around at all. Got mine years ago from Xterra...really happy with it and they always have good sales. Buy direct from the company.
  7. Above the planet on a wing and a prayer My grubby halo, a vapor trail in the empty air Across the clouds I see my shadow fly Out of the corner of my watering eye A dream unthreatened by the morning light Could blow this soul right through the roof of the night There's no sensation to compare with this Suspended animation, a state of bliss Can't keep my mind from the circling sky Tongue-tied and twisted, just an earth-bound misfit, I
  8. And all that is now And all that is gone And all that's to come And everything under the sun is in tune But the sun is eclipsed by the moon
  9. Give it to me baby uh huh uh huh Give it to me baby uh huh uh huh Give it to me baby uh huh uh huh And all the girlies say I'm pretty fly for a white guy Damn Bill, simultaneous posts...but I could have used your Rikki in my song too! At least you'll know you can always go on Ricki Lake
  10. That's putting a lot of pressure on a 57 year old running back, but even though Thurm probably needs glasses now to see the hole, he still might hit it faster than Motor.
  11. Don't bring me down No, no, no, no, no Ooh-ooh-hoo I'll tell you once more before I get off the floor Don't bring me down, down, down, down, down, down I'll tell you once more before I get off the floor Don't bring me down
  12. I've seen the needle and the damage done A little part of it in everyone But every junkie's like a settin' sun
  13. Number one Time is running out Number two Time is running out Number three Time is running out Number four Let it all hang out
  14. Saw the Cure a few weeks back at the amphitheater in Toronto. Hadn't been at the venue for a number of years and forgot just how great a spot it is for live music. They played for nearly three hours and had a 29 song setlist. Robert sounded great, hasn't lost a thing. The band was great too, with a clean crisp sound you don't normally get with live music...bass and drum levels were spot on allowing you to hear the music. Best part was the fact that Robert Smitrh didn't feel the need to chat with the crowd the whole night...the boys just played straight through. Maybe an hour in he gave the fans a simple "Hello", and then after the final note was played he stayed on stage and took in the crowd, then went back to the mic to deliver a wonderful parting to the adoring crowd of "Well that was eff-ing fun". Great show, and much better than I had expected.
  15. Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga ... I'm hooked on a feeling I'm high on believing That you're in love with me
  16. Letting the days go by, let the water hold me down Leting the days go by, water flowing underground Into the blue again, after the money's gone Once in a lifetime, water flowing underground
  17. I bought a ticket to the world But now I've come back again Why do I find it hard to write the next line? Oh I want the truth to be said Huh huh huh hu-uh huh I know this much is true
  18. Figured that was the issue...just some poor wording on the Bills' part. Should actually be written like this; Members can select tickets for up to two (2) practices. There is a limit of six (6) tickets per practice. If I had known I would have split my tickets up. Oh well, at least I was able to get some.
  19. Grabbed six for the first Friday, then went to get my other 6 for Sunday but TM site kept saying that I had already exceeded my limit. Am I reading this wrong? Members can select tickets for up to two (2) practices. There is a limit of six (6) tickets per practice. Was fully prepared to offer any of my extras to TBD posters free of charge...sorry guys.
  20. Number nine, number nine, number nine, number nine, number nine, number nine
  21. The AFL Original patch with RW is a nice touch that could easily be incorporated into the current unis. I have always liked the patch on the Chiefs jerseys and wondered why Buffalo didn't have one outside of the 50th anniversary year.
  22. Email from Bills... AFC Championship Ticket Presale Rescheduled to 3 PM There were technical issues with the website. The presale will begin at 3 PM.
  23. Same here...my 2:00 window is open (if they add tickets) but I didn't receive an email with a code. We'll see what my rep says...
  24. Chiefs fans have jobs?
  25. My window isn't until 2:00 so I'm pretty much SOL.
