Taking my 12-year-old son to his first Bills game this weekend and I can totally see him saying the same thing. I took him to our local college game the last two weeks and tried to explain how it wouldn't be the same in Buffalo...he's in for a treat Glad you were able to get out to the game Shaw, and thanks as always for the great recap.

Take the scenic route along the lake to/from Toronto on Saturday...Niagara-on-the-Lake, Port Dalhousie...and stop in for a drink somewhere. It's a beautiful area.

Absolutely. And the word you are looking for is Backpfeifengesicht — German for ‘a face badly in need of a fist’

Is the #1 seed that big of a deal anymore?

The playoff bye is especially nice for a team that had their bye in week 7. -
Those throws looking much better than that broken-handed shot put for 2. Can't wait to have him back in the lineup.

ESPN Rest of Season Predictions
Son of a K-Gun replied to First Round Bust's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bleacher Report also still high on the Bills' chances in the AFC and see them making a deep run in the playoffs. They also have Buffalo finishing at 12-5 and NE at 10-7. Seems the national media has a lot more faith in this team than most some of the fans do. What a strange time to be a Buffalo Bills fan. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2950148-nfl-playoff-predictions-at-the-midseason-mark -
Every Bills game comes down to the Bills OL and can they play respectable. That's really about it. If the OL plays respectable, the Bills beat, or at least have a great shot at beating any team in the league. There isn't another weakness on this team that is significant enough to make a difference outside of fluke plays like a blocked punt or a QB slipping on 4th down. Everyone just needs to take a collective breath and realize how good this team is. Good teams lose games to bad teams, it happens. Breathe in, breathe out, move on.

Bills will be dangerous as hell in the playoffs

This defense is going to keep the team in a lot of games through the rest of the season and as bad as the offense looked yesterday they were putting up more points per game than any team in the NFL. That isn't an accident. Get the O-Line healthy and give Allen a couple of seconds of protection and watch how the offense responds. Good teams have bad games, just ask almost every favourite from yesterday. Breathe in, breathe out, move on. -
Agree on Feliciano. If you are looking at Feliciano to be "the guy" on the line you are going to be disappointed. If he is your number five, you could do a lot worse. I'm no expert when it comes to judging O-Line play, but it seems like the interior plays more as a unit whereas the tackles are much more on an island. When your interior features Cody Ford and Ike Boettger it makes it tough to succeed...you can't expect a trio like The Police when the talent is more like the Jonas Brothers. Sorry, that's disrespectful to the Jonas Brothers. They're more like Hanson.

Thanks @Shaw66, good level-headed response to what happened yesterday. The sky isn't quite falling yet but the alarm has certainly been sounded. The team knows what they need to do and I think the key point you make is that the line isn't good enough. The line can get by with their "best 5", but once they have to plug in Ike and Ford...yikes. This line is straight up exposed against any sort of quality front four.

Noticed this one as well and actually thought that the RT and RG were so far in the backfield by the time the ball was snapped that the refs could have called illegal formation if they didn't recognize what a false start was... Paging Odell Beckham Sr. -

Here’s hoping Davis Webb gets his Rudy moment. -
I think a lot of the Allen/Mahomes comparisons come down to the supporting cast, much like any comparison between QB’s. When one QB is slinging balls to Kelvin Benjamin and Robert Foster of course the QB with Hill and Kelce will look better (and he was better). However, Mahomes’ development may be a victim of his early success. When he sees results in the form of MVP trophies and Super Bowls, there is little reason for him to spend time on the finer points of his craft. When things go pear-shaped as they have in 2021, those small flaws become magnified. I’m no QB-whisperer but I have seen poor mechanics from the jump with Mahomes. Those cute underhands, sidearms and no looks are one thing when everything is clicking, but when they miss the target or get picked off…not so cute anymore and cue the “What’s wrong with Patrick Mahomes?” takes. Counter that with the progress of Josh Allen. Every season we hear the stories and see the tape of his workouts with Palmer. They identify weaknesses and hone his craft. The results are obvious…he is putting in the work required to become better every year. And he’s doing that because he has had to. Success has never come “easy” for Josh Allen, he has had to work his ass off for everything. It is what makes him a great QB, a great leader and a guy that is fans can so easily root for. And the best part? He is still putting that work in even after finding success and recognition. That’s how we know we have something special in Buffalo. Go Bills.

Go Bills! Enjoy the in-person action @Chandler#81 ! -
It isn’t so much that he runs by the rush from 91, the play action takes him out of position to put a block on him. 91 is free because Feliciano is pulling. Morse actually does a good job of handing off the tackle and cleaning up 28.

In the slo-mo it almost looks like Singletary throws his hands up and shrugs when there isn’t a rusher for him 🤷♂️
