  1. Don't look now...but Mularkey has an average Titans team playing with confidence. They do have solid QB play. But rest of team is questionable.
  2. A jockstrap and a box of tape.
  3. You watch. 1) We'll fire Rex ( I want this) 2) We'll clean house (I only partially want this) 3) We'll ship Tyrod, keep EJ. Drop development on Cardale ( i don't want this) Someone will pick up Tyrod (Denver?) and Gilmore (Oakland?) and they'll play lights out in a better scheme. Meanwhile we will be in the NFL wilderness for another 3 years. FML. Cale
  4. Right I'm not sure we can beat the Browns. They'll get off the schneid with us.
  5. Anyone who doesn't think a better coach like Jim Schwartz can win with the talent we have on this team, is misguided. Even with this QB and D.
  6. This is a far more realistic playoff projection app. Right now our chances are slim to none. http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2016/upshot/buffalo-bills-nfl-playoff-picture.html?_r=0
  7. I don't know if they're world beaters, but they're good enough to win. This stubborn insistence that they need to play man to man even when the opposing QB is extremely accurate and the WRs are strong, is just dumb. You have to mix coverage up. Our pass rush is lacking in a lot of situations, they double team Lorax and it's over. We just can't get off the field on 3rd down. We have plenty of talent. I just don't see this coaching staff being smart enough to utilize it. Was it the Seahawks game? you didn't know what offensive play Lynn was gonna call? I wish our D was that unpredictable. C Our lack of discipline and focus overall is the central issue. That's it in a nutshell.
  8. I just watched the A Football Life: Cleveland Browns 95. I had no idea Schwartz was part of that Belichick staff. Our franchise deserves what we get. We had someone from that coaching tree in our grasp and we elect to hire the buffoon. This would have been Schawrtz's second HC gig and he had that D playing at championship calibre. He's an ass. Sure. But I would argue so is Ryan. Who knows what we could have accomplished. C
  9. Bruce put two QBs on the retirement track after he inflicted vicious hits on both. Boomer with the Jets and Joe Montana with KC. It was awesome!
  10. I had to work Sunday presenting a workshop in Chicago between 2-3 pm. I missed the game. Does anyone know how one can watch the replay? Thank you. C
  11. He's just a petulant, immature child. That will prove to be his own undoing. Belichick is All World. Ryan is All Dumpster Fire. I'm embarrassed that he's our coach.
  12. There's plenty of talent on this team. They just need to be coached. Ryan is not it. By any stretch of the imagination. The stench is real.
  13. But but we won the preseason...no, not really...
  14. I don't know much about Vitale. But based on this highlight reel, I think it's even more basic. The kid can catch the ball out of the backfield. The play action pass out of a strong running game is the simplest explanation. Especially those wheel routes. Or more importantly Jon Gruden's favorite play Spider 2 Y Banana. A staple in WCOs. http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/news/jon-gruden-spider-2-y-banana-play-monday-night-football-explained-video-history-what-it-means/kxcnsl13211n1nw261jlmro7s Vitale can run this all day long and catch balls that would make him hard to defend. C
  15. Needed to get the view count up, huh?
  16. Great piece by Steve Hartman on Bruce DeHaven on CBS Sunday Morning today. Very emotional. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/panthers-coach-wont-let-cancer-keep-him-from-super-bowl-50/
  17. He is putting together a helluva staff in CLE. Doug Pedersen as well in Philadelphia. Hired Jim Schwarz as DC and Frank Reich as OC. So glad. Now Schwartz and Reich can be in line when Rex loses his job next year.
  18. I think Hue Jackson will be an excellent HC second time around. But the pool this time around is also pretty shallow. If anyone wanted to give Coughlin a look see, I don't think that'd be a bad idea.
  19. So how many seasons has Todd Bowles had with the Jets? http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/14446516/todd-bowles-poise-no-nonsense-approach-exactly-new-york-jets-need-nfl Look, I loved the Rex hire. LOVED IT! But about 5 weeks in when we were committing stupid penalties for no reason at all and it was costing us games, I knew we had a dunce for a coach. The only significant difference between the Jets and us are the coaches. They took our rejects (QB, OC etc) and built a playoff team. You need luck. No doubt of it. But I think luck favors the prepared. Right now this team is anything but prepared or placed in a position to win. I am sure Fitzy will break their hearts. But they'll have a shot at the SB. And that's all you can ask for. But their coach has substance. Inexperienced, sure. But he's gonna be a good one. Our orders of magnitude talented team is being fanned on the ego of someone who hasn't done anything of significance in 4 years at least. We make our own misfortune in Buffalo. C
  20. This win sucks. Doesn't help us in any way, shape or form.
  21. They probably already have Schwartz on speed dial. Dude is popular down here. That's their guy. Greggo has too much baggage.
