I love Marv. I mean he may be the reason I'm a Bills fan. But he was an awful game day coach as a strategist. The first Super Bowl was proof positive. Kelly's ego and Marv's hands off approach lost us that Super Bowl. That should have been the Thurman Thomas Super Bowl. It's where Belichick learned to steal our lunch. Let's just remember that these coaches didn't see what McKenzie and Bates truly could do until their hands were forced. Today I read a thing where McDermott said they were trying to protect Bates cause he could play all positions. Seriously? All the while our OL was caving in and our QB was running for his life. I have no problem with the staff trusting veterans more than newer talent. You only need to see the Sanders show to know this is true. But c'mon. We have so much talent on this roster. It's just being underutilized IMHO.

This franchise sticks its head in the sand. A 10 year old could see how we can't run and can't stop the run. But we were down to hoping and praying. We *might* make the playoffs. It will be a short run.
