Agreed. Draft this kid and move him all over line. I like him better than Davis. Davis will have a great career. But Wyatt is more versatile.
-
Also I didn't see many Rams games this season. But Kupp is a bad ass baller. Took him a loooonnnng time to develop, but it's paying off now. Jeff Fisher doesn't look so silly now. Drafting a WR from that powerhouse Eastern Washington...

Not with our current D. Stafford would have had all day to throw. Whatever else you wanna say about the Bengals their DLine sacked the QB when they needed to. Their secondary is crap. But they got to the quarterback. Our D can't hold anything for 13 seconds.

Just saying... Jim Schwartz is out there looking for DC job
cale replied to tomur67's topic in The Stadium Wall
Schwartz has a great gig with the Titans as a "senior adviser." Probably why their D had our O's number in that game. At any rate, we can keep Frazier and bring in an "advisor" to work as a pass rush specialist. -
Why did Marv not directly replace Ted Marchiabroda?
cale replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
I love Marv. I mean he may be the reason I'm a Bills fan. But he was an awful game day coach as a strategist. The first Super Bowl was proof positive. Kelly's ego and Marv's hands off approach lost us that Super Bowl. That should have been the Thurman Thomas Super Bowl. It's where Belichick learned to steal our lunch. Same thing with the Jimmy Johnson Dallas teams. We just couldn't adjust or get out of our own way. Amazing underutilized talent on our side of the ball. -

I think Dorsey stays as OC. If he wants to become a HC he should stay with his blue chip QB and this ridiculous receiving corps. Following Daboll or Frazier elsewhere is a crap shoot if it's about taking the next step.

A Few Thoughts about the Falcons Game, in no particular order
cale replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Good work, my man. You have contributed more than your fair share. I don't think anyone would begrudge you a retirement of sorts @Virgil. 🙂 -
FWIW. I felt the same way. 😂

Let's just remember that these coaches didn't see what McKenzie and Bates truly could do until their hands were forced. Today I read a thing where McDermott said they were trying to protect Bates cause he could play all positions. Seriously? All the while our OL was caving in and our QB was running for his life. I have no problem with the staff trusting veterans more than newer talent. You only need to see the Sanders show to know this is true. But c'mon. We have so much talent on this roster. It's just being underutilized IMHO.

Our season in a tweet. The reason why the Patriots are the Patriots and we are well...us.

I agree per the CDC not ringing the bell louder. It wouldn't have mattered per Beasley. Unvaccinated players are not only a hazard to themselves but to the vaccinated as well. Omicron is hyper mutative in the spike protein. That and the fact that the vaccinated's immunity is waning without the booster is a perfect storm. But it doesn't mean that vaccinations are not conferring immunity. We are learning as we go. But some are choosing to be intentionally ignorant. https://www.mercurynews.com/2021/12/03/omicron-vs-delta-comparing-covids-most-worrisome-variants/

We need to let this tool and a couple of others go this offseason. Just can't count on them. If he was vaccinated the protocol is that he'd be back in circulation by Sunday. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/32911909/nfl-covid-19-protocol-changes-week-15-postponed-games-new-testing-return-play-rules-nfl-navigate-omicron-variant Also apparently the majority of players are not boosted. Like what the ....?
-
Those teams. Patriots included. Are highly compliant. You think BB is giving them a choice to be vaccinated? Even if there are breakthrough infections, they will be relatively mild and the protocols are more lenient when the players are vaccinated. Watch the BB presser on Saturday. He was wearing a mask the whole time. Tell me when was the last time you saw another coach do that? Their lack of infected players is no accident. Around the NFL, Arians can't even wear his mask over his nose. Meanwhile the Bills...Oy!

I hope the media and commentators keep praising the Patriots to the skies

Eh? They led the division before the Bills game. They lead the division after the Bills game. They are also the current #1 AFC Seed. We are #7. Looking outside. I think your hypothesis needs work. Cause the data doesn't support it. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/2021-nfl-playoff-picture-standings-for-week-14-patriots-no-1-in-afc-washington-emerges-in-wild-nfc/ -
I don't know why we don't promote Antonio Brown and let him carry the rock. I mean, he must be dropping balls all over in practice. Also Todd Gurley is still out there I think. Time to bring him in.

OK, armchair analysts: How do we fix this offense?

This franchise sticks its head in the sand. A 10 year old could see how we can't run and can't stop the run. But we were down to hoping and praying. We *might* make the playoffs. It will be a short run.

A Few Thoughts about the Colts game, in no particular order
cale replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
McD is loyal to a fault. He lives and dies by his veterans. I honestly can't blame him for that. But Frazier or Beane needs to get in his ear and say, "C'mon, man..." That's the problem when the GM and Coach are close friends. -

A "dome team" out smash mouthed us. What does that say about the Bills? -

Great review. I'll only disagree with one thing. We know Ford is bad. The team knows that Ford is bad. Our opponents know that Ford is bad. And we're still having to play him. What does that say about our roster management? It's embarrassing.
