Willis has been my favorite players since his U days. I was shocked and elated to another level when the Bills drafted him. He needs a different environment though. If he gets on the right team he will be a monster like he was in college...the right team though is not the Bills. Lets get our picks from the Ravens and Willis can be reunited with a lot of his boys again, play on a contender, and pretty much do his thing.
Kenny Irons anyone?
Wow...Dillon...running behind a much better line...scratch that...with a much better offense...averages .3 yards better then McGahee.
If you put McGahee on that team, I'm willing to be money that his #'s would be better then Dillon's as a platooned back.
freak athlete, who was one of the best players comign out of HS. SERIOUSLY under performed at FSU...but he is so fast and strong, he'll be drafted off that alone and will return kicks and get carries here and there.
I know he may not be rated as high as Shaw on a lot of peoples list, but I like Sartz better.
Shaw is quicker, but in terms of size he is at a disadvantage. Sartz can shed blocks better, and I heard that Shaws workout #'s could be overrated.
Kenny is a great character guy, and wouldn't create problems. Half of the league isn't considered bright bulbs...but if they are good players and good locker room guys....you're in business
I would be very happy if this is the way our draft went.
Version with McGahee trade:
1st round-Amboi Okoye
2nd round-Kenny Irons
3rd round-Fred Bennett
4th round-Dallas Sartz
Version w/o McGahee trade
1.Okoye
2.Greg Olsen
3.Fred Bennett
4.Dallas Sartz
Kenny Irons would be awesome to, but I don't think we should go after a RB first round. Kenny is a damn good runner. And great character guy...he's a pipe dream though.
Stoops new offense is trying to foucs on airing it out more. Thats a big reason why Henry decided to forego his senior year to goto the draft.
Henry is actually on the front page of Yahoo sports right now...
And McGahee is indeed traded. I'd look to get Chris Henry from Arizona. 6-0 230 with 4.5 speed. He'll go be a late day 1 guy, and I think he would be great in Buffalo.
