  1. Except last year when we won, but it doesn't count.
  2. He would be just as bad or worse. I remember watching Lions games and they lost a lot of games due to undisciplined players and stupid penalties. Sound familiar? Schwartz would be cool to bring back as DC, but HC, not no, but hell no.
  3. I like Tyrod and believe he has played well. However, he couldn't carry Russell's lunch box. The Tyrod Wilson comparisons are really irritating.
  4. Losing is for losers. I think not.
  5. I was a Spurs fan before they were the Spurs. Dallas Chapparals, but we never won nuttin'.
  6. I hope we kill the Cowboys and beat the Jets knocking them out of the playoffs.
  7. Down by contact. TYrod DID fumble yesterday. Any one catch that ?
  8. I do agree with you to a degree. But, a couple of things. Very rare is the rookie QB that comes in and plays all 16 games. Most don't. So to say a guy is a rookie until he gets 16 starts is stretching it a little. And, Tyrod has already had 4 off season programs, 4 training camps, 16 more pre season games, and even thrown 2 more interceptions than a true rookie coming into his first season. True it's not playing, but it's still a huge head start. I think we should expect at least modestly better than rookie play. I think he has given us that. I wanted us to sign Tyrod even before FA started BECAUSE he already had this head start on someone else's dime. He is what he is, a 5 year veteran.
  9. The offense had the football twice resulting in ZERO points before Washington went up 21-0 and got it again right after. Would have been nice if they could have scored a few points when they had the chance. In fact, they didn't even score any points in the whole first half. It's hard to win consistently in the NFL when your offense doesn't score any points in the first half. As was Flutie.
  10. Why can't Rex do the same if it's so easy? He's got the same line. Actually, only 3 of them were in the Pro Bowl last year. How many will be this year? I would say it's sustainable for the next 3 or 4 years at least. And, we can always bring new defensive lineman in if needed.
  11. Let me know when they are a playoff contender even for one year.
  12. How exactly is Tyrod putting up "top 10 numbers". In total yards, he's currently 25th, 4 slots below Sam Bradford. In TDs he's 16th, right below Fannyhill. Even in the hang your hat on QB Rating he has fallen to #11.
  13. We were never behind in the Houston game.
  14. In EJ's 2 games this year his completion % was 66.7 and 57.1. Both better than only one of Tyrod's last 5 starts.
  15. Whatever. If EJ had started all year and we had the same won loss record and EJ has stumbled where Tyrod has, I wouldn't say he is the franchise QB in the making any more than I think Tyrod is at this point. There's a lot more to football than stats. I don't care who the starter is as long as their good. Please don't paint me as a EJ jock sniffer. I didn't even say EJ should start. I just said I haven't given up on him. I like Tyrod and he has done well. We just need to keep looking and keep an open mind, that's all. Saying Tyrod is the guy and going all in on him feels a lot like saying Fitz is the guy when we did and going all in on him.
  16. Yeah, then the NFL could rig the lottery like the NBA does.
  17. He's not a rookie.
  18. Not the answer as far as being the next Joe Montana, sure. Sure he looked bad for one quarter vs Jacksonville and the pass to Watt was bad. But I have seen other QBs including the great Andrew Luck throw that exact same pass only it wasn't caught. I also saw Carson Palmer give up 2 TDs to Seattle in less than 1:00 a few weeks later. Yet, he, his D, and team mates were able to overcome. Kindof like EJ did, only his D and team mates (Shady on the 4) didn't come through. But EJ has also played very well in quite a few games too. So I'm not giving up on him based on 1 quarters' play, but that's just me. As far as that loss keeping us from the playoff, I'd argue the KC game made a bigger difference.
  19. Next years a long ways off. A lot can happen between now and then and will. I've been watching Bills games. I don't hate Tryod. I like him. But I'm not married to him.
  20. Bruce Arians is 62 years old. Two of his top 2 assistants are 80 and 77.
  21. EJ has shown it several times including in the Jacksonville game. We WERE ahead until the D gave up an 86 yard drive to Blake Bortles and company. I don't know he should start or not but would not rule it out for 2016. Whose are the defenses' all on?
  22. I've seen enough over the last 5 years.
  23. What's the offenses' excuse?
  24. And not throwing picks or fumbling, but instead throwing good passes and we win? A QB becomes a leader by coming through under fire which thus far, Tyrod has done little of, thus, no leadership. Those 3 and outs didn't help much either. Just keep putting our suck egg D back there time and time again.
  25. But that was after they already had it sewed up by tanking for the first 13.
