If he's interested where the money is being wasted they could run a report on where the money is going without Musk and his people having access to ALL the data. I don't trust these people. Seems you do. Actually I don't trust anybody having anything going on in government. Nor should I. We should he skeptical of what they're doing IMHO.

And what job is that? I thought he was supposed to be looking at laws and streamlining processes. I have done this kind of work (streamlining processes) and even for the government. We never got access to classified systems without the proper security clearances. Does he have those? Being a past or present drug user usually nixes that. If he needs to look at the system to see how it works he could look at anonymized test servers. You don't access to these systems to review laws to find places to save money. I'm all for the government saving money but him and his underlings having access to classified treasury systems doesn't sound right.

Why do you think the NFL hasn't done anything about this? I think they have a reason. They're happy with it as is. Gives them wiggle room on ball placement in case they need help a team when needed. I was watching Super Bowl XII highlights today. 15 years after what we're talking about. Almost every Doomsday Defense sack or near sack would be roughing the passer today. Josh would be sacked and landed on even after he threw the ball. Defenses were playing bump 'n run and holding past 5 yards was OK. Warren Wells was playing. All of this would play havoc on his accuracy and completion percentages. When he ran with the ball they'd take his head off which is why Roger Staubach invented the slide after it happened to him a few times. And, Josh wouldn't have all the nutritional and training methods players have today. And he'd probably be eating doughnuts and smoking cigarettes at 1/2 time. It was a different game back then.

Why change anything? They're raking it in. As I once heard Steve Young say (paraphrasing), when you have a product with an inelastic demand, you can do whatever you want.
