Tyler Lockett could fix this offense
reddogblitz replied to Over 29 years of fanhood's topic in The Stadium Wall
I can only dream about what our offense would like with these 2 guys (Metcalf and Lockett) lining up for Josh to throw to. That said, if there's any way to get Lockett on the Bills, I'm listening. -

Josh Allen Performance Yesterday..a Redux

Amen brother. They ran it several times like they always do. They also ran it a couple of times with #83. Why can't we run that play to Kincaid or Knox? -

I'm gonna say it was Fred Jackson. We ran great screens when Coach Gailey was here. I've been saying for years Dabol/Dorsey/Brady should dust off some of those Gailey era game films and copy some of those. I know they still have them somewhere at OBD. It would be a great play to run against these over aggressive blitzing Ds we've seen the last 2 weeks and no doubt will Monday night. -

Been thinking about this. While I found passing on 3 straight plays and not making Houston burn timeouts odd I'm not so sure the idea was to throw it long every play. I could kindof see the first down pass to Coleman who did some nice things in the game. Looked to be like the 2 he caught in the Ravens game. Give us a first and stop the clock on the 20. Maybe get something going. After that maybe the idea was to throw a short pass to get a 1st down. I saw the all 22 on the pass to Hollins I belive on 2nd down and most guys ran short routes. Some were even open. Most pass plays have someone going long to keep the safeties honest if nothing else. Josh passed up the short throws to go long. After the Hollins pass Coach McDermott seemed to say something like we should be going for the first down. Wasn't the first time in the game Josh did that. Pretty much did it all game. -

I'm gonna disagree with this. The bomb to Hopkins would have been fine if Hollins knew where the ball was. It hit him in the hands. The one to Hollns on 2nd down from the 3 was horrendous. -

Let me see if I have this right. Josh threw the football well and with accuracy today? -

This is both a lot of truth and a lot of excuse making. Yeah our WRs are bad. But today Josh seemed to revert back to sugar high Josh trying to force the football downfield to guys that weren't even open. He also overthrew several balls and several more landed yards beyond the boundary. He's our $60,000,000 man and a 7 year vet. He needs to play better regardless of what everyone else does/doesn't do. -

Reminds me of the guys we used to trot out in the Coach Gailey era. Donald Jones, Stevie Johnson, Roscoe Parrish, TJ Graham, etc -

Yeah I thought we didn't like Coach McDermott cuz he's too conservative. -
OK. Just sounds a little too close for comfort for me. I just hope we win tomorrow. Actually I don't really believe in jinxes but they are fun to talk about.
-
What are you doing? Trying to jinx us? One game at a time.

What’s up with the bills usage of Kincaid?
reddogblitz replied to iwishitwerecolder's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dalton needs to catch the football when it hits him in the hands. -
@Roundybout - This is the hypocritical take I'm referring to. It's OK and fun to repeat the uber fact checked and disproven Vance couch story. And then 3 hours later you get butt hurt when someone mentions jizzzzzzzzzzzzzzz and Walz. Another stupid unsubstantiated claim. If this is not hypocritical somehow in your brain please explain it.

Thanks. But no, you're not right. It's not my or anyone else's job to prove your points. If you make an assertion, you're the one that needs to back it up, not me or anyone else. Besides, I don't use Google because they suck up too much personal information. I use a less intrusive search engine. To each his/her own.

His fame comes more from being the son/nephew of a Senator and President that were both assassinated 50 some odd years ago IMHO. I know him more as a lawyer who won court cases in environmental and consumer safety cases against the likes of Monsanto and the FCC. Any details on how she is going to make the economy work for everyone?
