James Comey to be investigated for posting “8647”
reddogblitz replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
And my point sailed over yours evidently. For a cop I'm sure it would be nice if people didn't do things he has to investigate. That way he could hang around the office and eat doughnuts like Andy and Barn did. If it's too much trouble for him to investigate things maybe he should go back to his radio show. Dumb move by Stretch, but I don't feel sorry for Dan. -

I'm expecting a presidential proclamation outlawing NFL players from wearing 86 or 47. And to Dan, it's your freaking' job. If you don't wanna do it quit and go back to your radio show. -

Maybe talk to your wife on the beach instead of having your head up your cell phone? -

As we used to say, nothing in life is free.

President Trump is on a roll with these tweets first with the no talent Bruce Springsteen with bad skin and now this. But you're gonna have to explain how accepting this beautiful "gift" from an amazing country is going to save us taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars. We're still on the hook for the 2 Boeing 747s. We'll have to spend a billion dollars getting the gift up to spec for AF1 over a year's time. Then we'll fly it for a year or 2 and then give it away. How does that save money?

Take things out of context much? -
It's this week's re open Alcatraz. It's just silly. Boeing will deliver in 2 years. Even if we take the airplane it will be months before we get it. Then we'll have to have the whole thing rebuilt and gone over with a fine tooth comb to bring it up to Air force 1 spec. That will take over a year according to accounts from military types I've seen. And will no doubt cost hundreds of millions of dollars. ( thought we were trying to save money to pay down the debt.) Is Qatar gonna pay for that too? For what? So Presidents Musk and Trump can fly on fancier airplane than the taxpayers provide for 6 months? We made a great deal LOL.

It certainly is LOL -
This has been going on for a long time. I remember being in Vancouver, BC on bidness about 15 years ago and had to pass 2 or 3 on location movies sets between my hotel and the office. I was told they get good tax incentives for shooting there so they do.

How much is it gonna cost? We're trying to save money here and pay down the debt, right? -
Will win what exactly? Please be as specific as you can.

The only thing I'm panicking about is those freakin' penguins. They're now gonna be screwing us for another 90 days. They've been doing it to us for decades. Enough is enough.

I didn't see any conflicts with anyone. If someone had asked me what I was protesting it would be 2 things. 1. Keep your hands off the VA health care system. They do amazing work taking care of our disabled veterans. If I thought the plan was about doing more with a more streamlined process costing less I'd be for it. Instead, the plan seems to be do less with less as programs are already being cut. 2. The Penguins. Screw the penguins. Those penguins have been screwing us for decades and I'm darn tired of it.

It was a good day with nice weather here too. In the suburbs we had estimates of 1,000 people lining both sides of the street row a half mile or so. I brought my drum and found some percussionists. We had up to 7 people involved. We jammed non stop for about and hour and 15 minutes. Crowd was into it. It was fun. My favorite signs were the ones with penguins. ***** those penguins. They've been screwing us for decades. It's payback time.

how much would it cost to buy your vote?
reddogblitz replied to Joe Ferguson forever's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
This proves nothing. I went to a protest by a VA Health Clinic to protest cutting the VA from 1:30 to 3:30. At 3:30 everyone including myself left. I saw no money exchange hands. Do you have any proof money is changing hands or just conjecture such as this? What are they supposed to do, stay all night? People got other things to do too. -
I remember punch cards. I learned how to program in COBOL and Assembly Language on a mainframe in the late 1970s. After a couple of years they removed the punch card machines and went to terminals using line editors. Full screen editors weren't a thing yet. The best graffiti in the men's room in the computer center was "COBOL programmers have bigger decks". Do you know why? A lot of people run parts of their business on older software and platforms because it's expensive to rewrite your large application to do the same thing on the latest a greatest platforms if it's working. SS has never missed a payment so evidently it is working. Not saying improvements couldn't be made and I'm sure there has been but it's not as easy as many think it is. I'm gonna call BS on the punch card thing unless evidence can be provided to the contrary.
