  1. Surprised no one has posted this (yet).
  2. Yeah and we ran him off cuz he dropped too many passes or God made him drop too many. As was Jake Fromm and Ray Ray McCloud and Vosean Joseph. Again hopefully it's moot cuz he's gonna do great and we resign him. Would take that all day over another SJ.
  3. That's nice. I'm hoping Amari plays well and we re sign him. Otherwise we're gonna be in the same boat next year without a stud WR and a lot of spares at WR. I'm hoping this is the first step in getting serious about vastly improving the WR positions going forward and into the future.
  4. I couldn't care less about low round comp picks. I just want somebody that can get open and catch the freakin' football.
  5. I remember Kelvin catching a TD pass from Nate Peterman in the first 1/2 of the Snow Bowl in 2017. Without that we very well may have lost that game and extended the drought to 18 years. So it wasn't all bad. I'm loving this trade. Amari Is gonna be great on those scramble drills. And he can catch those long balls. Let's go get some hardware.
  6. I'm thinking he may have been watching old Flutie naked boot highlights on YouTube.
  7. After the epenesa penalty I was waiting for him to say QBs should have to wear a dress, but he didn't. I did.
  8. I once heard Bill Parcels say he's never seen an ugly win. They are all sweet to him. I agree. Huge win. Go Bills!!
  9. He did really great against the Jets at home last year. I was at that game and he balled out.
  10. True. As Steve Young said a few years ago, "when you have a product with an inelastic demand, you can do whatever you want." If it weren't for football, I'd hate the NFL.
  11. I was wondering about this too. Maybe Josh was trying to show off to Diggs about how he could throw long without him. I certainly hope that not the case but I'm not so sure it isn't.
  12. If Europeans love football so much have them start their own league. Let their kids bash their heads into each instead of just relying on American kids to do if. Not to mention that some US city will not get the big tourism tax revenue bump. I think they should play the SB in the city of the conference champ with the best record, but that's yet me. He also said he wants a 18 game schedule. So take out a game none of the regulars play in and add a game to the end of the season when guys are tired and banged up. DON'T EVER TALK TO ME ABOUT "PLAYER SAFETY" if you do that. Really I don't want to hear it now since they added the 17th game.
  13. Wouldn't this in large part be Beane's responsibility? I'm souring on Beans cuz we just don't have the talent other top teams do especially at WR. Brady is a big part of the problem IMHO. Looks great some games and bad in others. I believe the "everybody eats" philosophy is flawed. I remember watching a program on NFL Channel about the Ravens and they won their first SB. They were doing the "everybody eats" thing until Trent Dilfer got there and he said no, I'm gonna throw it to the open guy no matter who he is. Their offense improved. I hope Josh does the same. The "everybody eats" thing already ran off Diggs. Josh has a big role in it too due to his regression to trying to throw it long on every play. WRs need to catch the football. Really it's a just a team thing all the way from Coach McDermott to the water boy.
  14. Power rankings are dumb. It will get sorted out by record and playoffs.
  15. I was not a Davis fan and so far in his young career Shakir has caught the football well and his run after catch skills are sublime. I'm just not ready to crown his ass yet. I need to see if he can do it for a whole season. If you're ready to crown his ass, go for it.
  16. Would seem odd to me to fire a HC this early in the season. Who can you get? You might get a few game bump with a an interim but basically you're kissing the season off and the players know it. But it's Jerry we're talking here so who the bleep bleep knows. He's fired 2 SB winning coaches so why not? As far as Bill Bellyache taking over there next year I could totally see that happening. Not sure what happened with Pederson. Seemed like a football genius in that SB vs the Cheats. The Philly Shuffle etc. My favorite part is they did a fake walkthrough and then did the real one in a hotel ballroom. That was genius. Had they not it's likely the Philly Shuffle would never have worked and he may have been shuffled out of Philly earlier.
  17. This remains to be seen. Shakir has not played very much yet. I hope you are right.
  18. The sad thing is if Big Play Gabe was still on our team hedge our #1 receiver.
  19. Vegas Schmegas. I'll go with the words of the immortal Al the boss angel. "Championships are won on the field."
  20. Like who for example passed up a bad job and then got a good job later on?
  21. There's only 32 of these jobs in the whole world and only a handful open up every year. The job pays a lot of money. And if you're a hot up and coming coordinator you can't wait around too long cuz other hot and up and up and coming coordinators will pass you up. And most of these guys believe in themselves and think they can make it work. Buffalo was not really seen as a good landing spot yet Coach McDermott has made it work. It's the nature of the business. The only thing that ever amazed me about Coach Saleh was how he kept that job for so long. And LOL, auto correct changes Saleh to Walsh. 😆
