  1. Precisely what I was conveying to BC. If the haters don't like it they can bite him, just as they can bite me. He has nothing to prove...
  2. Dude just let it roll off your shoulders. I made a post a little over a year ago about a conversation I had with a couple of NFLers who have friends who play in my Flag Football league. I grew up playing ball with guys like Anquan Boldin, Fred Taylor, Vinny Sutherland, Julian Battle and a few others. I was sandblasted, I got called a liar and a show off. A lot of posters can't believe that these guys actually do interact with fans and such. I got tired of having to "prove" crap to a bunch of what I can only describe as haters and now I don't mention sh--. I believe you bro. Let the haters hate, that's what makes them feel better about themselves.
  3. Here have one of these. No one should EVER let Robert Royal disrupt their mood in the offseason...
  4. I LOVE BEN EPISODES! (caps intended) Tonight looks good.
  5. I saw this coming, I've worked with Huizinga's brother in law Charlie Pike since I was a teen. Up until about a year ago he owned the only BB franchises in the country, the rest being corporate. Back in June of last year he started closing them down, I think his Wellington store is still thriving but it won't be long till that one get's 86'd as well.
  6. Completely agree. There has never been a storyline up to par with the "NWO". Vince had a chance to take that to a new level when they bought out WCW but he REALLY screwed the pooch on that one due to his arrogance...
  7. Great insight. What's your opinion of what will happen if we don't "play our cards right"?
  8. Wow Lana, that's an old one. I only remember because I just saw it again about a week ago... Arsnic and Old Lace. I liked this line by Cary Grant: "Well, usually I'm Mortimer Brewster, but I'm not quite myself today" How about this movie: Brodie: Tell me, did you ever fart in front of her? T.S.: No, why do you ask? Brodie: I never farted in front of Renee. Last week, I let one slip and today she dumps me. T.S.: Renee's not the shallow type. You're not insinuating... Brodie: She was going down on me at the time. T.S.: [Retches] Brodie: What can I say, I was feeling relaxed, when I feel relaxed I squirt. T.S.: If all she did was dump you, you got off light. Shannon Hamilton: You wanna say something? Brodie Bruce: Yeah! About a million things, but I can't express myself monosyllabically enough for you to understand it all. Renee: Brodie, I've always taken you with a grain of salt. On your birthday, when you told me to do a striptease to the theme of "Mighty Mouse," I did it. On prom night at the hotel when you told me to sleep under the bed in case your mother barged in, I said okay. And even during my grandmother's funeral when you told my relatives that you could see her nipples through her burial dress, I let that slide. But if you think I'm gonna suffer any of your sh-- with a smile now that we're broken up, you're in for some serious !@#$ing disappointment! [brodie picks up a controller and continues a paused video game.] Renee: What are you doing? You promised me breakfast. Brodie: Breakfast, shmreakfast. Look at the score, for Christ's sake. It's only the second period and I'm up 12 to 2. Breakfasts come and go, Renee, but Hartford, "the Whale," they only beat Vancouver once, maybe twice in a lifetime.
  9. I'm sorry I'm not trying to be a d!ck, although it is fun sometimes. I was just trying to illustrate that with the type defense we run we need DE's who can get to the QB. Tyson Jackson does not fit that profile. Here's a comparison: Let's say we needed a big possession WR to compliment Evans like we did in last years draft, would we draft Harvin? With our F/O it is likely but that doesn't make it right, does it?
  10. Case closed then. I didn't realize our only two options were a "Kelsey clone" or Tyson Jackson. Sorry.
  11. I started coming to this board in 2000(01)? I have never and will never venture out to another board, I've had enough of all the good info/speculation/loonies/idiots and friends that one can manage right here at TSW!
  12. Jackson is too big and slow for the style of D we run. He is however a perfect fit for a team that runs a 3-4, which we do not. Do some of you even follow this team or are we just throwing pickles at the window at this point?
  13. Crayonz is just pushing buttons and half of you take him seriously. Trust me he's sitting back right now and thinking about his next post that will cause some of you to lose sleep. It's fun to watch quite frankly... Not all of us potheads are oblivious to your ploys crayola teeth... BTW Let me squash your next ploy to agitate Magenta mouth; I'm not paranoid, the proof is in your turquoise tapioca
  14. Tropic Thunder. How about this one: "Why are you wearing that stupid man suit?"
  15. Yeah man, I'm not a gamer myself but at 31 I know plenty around my age that are.
  16. The guy is a freak and has the potential to become a superstar at his position. I wouldn't mind one bit if we picked him up even in the 2nd round.
