    It makes for a very likable team but likable rarely wins championships.

    Is is as one poster stated: Solid. I'm not so sure he'll ever be more then that, which is too bad. However, if we build a top 5 defense around him he might excel as a leader on this defense, he has the right qualities to be a leader but not a star.

    I'm not going to lie, when the Byrd pick came in I almost broke my brain trying to understand WTF was going on but after the dust has settled now I think it was a nice pick. Brain still hurts though.

    He is his biggest fan and may one day have a future in politics. He has quite a few people fooled about what he brings to the table. Well Donte, it's year 4 and your stats and on field play are average. I don't want to sound too harsh because I like the guy, I just think he should run for office instead of in front of Sammy Morris.

    So we shouldn't upgrade a player who is just "solid" as you put it? Solid is good but a team of solid players is mediocre especially if your defensive "leader" is just solid.

    Donte is Donte's biggest fan. He speaks up like a leader and I like that about him, however he is an average SS and going in to year 4 it's time for him to put up or shut up.

    I don't disagree, I think Scott showed he was better against the run last year the Donte however I think Whitner starts the year at FS. I doubt we will see Byrd starting early in the year. If Byrd show's up though and it's hard to keep him off the field, well then I'm thinking Donte may be the odd man out.

    Why, did Lost Highways plot end up in "Inland"? Or is it just that IE is that much worse? IMHO Lynch is overrated. He's the Pete Carroll of movie making.

    Lost Highway. I know there are a lot of Lynch fans out there but this movie made no sense. Lynch himself won't even disclose what it's about and I'm guessing that's because not even he knows. I liked the creepiness of the flick but that's about it, the rest was what seemed to be a bad dream with no real plot.

    You're right. About 5 or 6 months ago I looked up his stats regarding how many 3rd down conversions he had to 1st downs and he's led the team over the last 2 years. The guy is the closest thing to money we have on 3rd down.

    I agree, this board hated Reed 2-3 years ago. I've always been a supporter however, I like the kids style.

    I think Johnson gets the nod due to Hardy's injury but after Hardy comes back it will be up to Stevie to hold on and prove he belongs there. If that goes well I believe he will be T.O's replacement next year.

    Reed will be a monster with Owens here. He's already been one of our most clutch WR's over the last 2 years.
