Scouting is more important than draft position in my opinion. Too much is made of where you draft, if you draft well you can find a player of need or BPA in any slot. In 2011 we picked 3rd and got MD, who I love but the Texans drafted JJ Watt at 11. Who would you rather have? Drafting top 5 is great if you know how to draft just as drafting 11th is great if you know how to draft.

I payed close attention to Brooks, the guy needs to get his head around like others have said but he looked good to me otherwise. Considering it was his first NFL game in crappy conditions and he was picked on all day he seemed to be on his man and even had a couple of pass breakups. People want to make it black and white and say he was either good or bad, yes he had some bad moments but he wasn't going to go out there and be all world in that scenario. I've never seen a CB just enter the league and be a superstar(maybe Deon), even Revis looked bad at times in his first few games.

Agreed, Carrington got lost in the mix when they changed him from a DE to a LB and now to a DT. 3 positions in 3 years, poor kid. Looks like he found his place though and should be a solid rotational player for some time.
