  1. I'm not a fan of Ansah either. I personally think the WR position is over-rated and that you should never take a risk on one that high. If you can get a sure fire guy like Megatron, AJ or Julio than yeah go for it but to risk the #8 on an inconsistent one year wonder scares me. Screams of the Maybin pick. Buddy and Whaley can't miss on this years first rounder and putting their eggs in a Patterson basket should scare them too. This draft will determine Nix's legacy and will be the beginning of Whaleys.
  2. I just do not get the love affair this board has with Patterson. Spending the #8 pick on a one year wonder is worse than spending the #11 pick on a one year wonder(Maybin). The guy wasn't even consistent in his one year of "greatness". And before people bring up his juco stats, remember that was JUCO!
  3. Kyle Williams was a pro bowl alternate this year, I'm guessing that some people in the league think he's pretty good.
  4. I thought that so I looked up some pics of before and after. The guy is huge. It may be CGI but these guys juice for some of these roles. Tom Hardy who played Bane in Batman no doubt had some synthetic help. I'm not against it to tell you the truth just noticed it and a little jealous.
  5. I think it's a lofty proposition to tank the season when the top recruits are all sophomores and may not even come out next year. Not saying they won't but with Buffalos luck, we'll get the top pick and everyone will decide to play their senior season.
  6. Hugh juiced, no doubt in my mind here. I don't care how well you train and eat, when you're 44 you don't pack on size like that in a short amount of time and stay lean without some extra help.
  7. If our SOLE competitive advantage is UDFA, then we are in even worse shape then I thought.
  8. I'm a firm believer in BPA unless you have a huge hole at QB, like the Bills do, then I think you make the exception.
  9. Most people with one personality disorder have the symptoms of multiple disorders. To me it sounds like your friend has PPD(paranoid personality disorder) and may be somewhat histrionic, but I'm no expert or anything. My fiancée is a therapist and I absorb some of what she talks about. It could also be Borderline as Tom said, that fits well into the conflict creating persona
  10. We'll take E.J Manuel this year and his favorite tight end Nick O'Leary in the first couple of rounds next year.
  11. I tend to agree with your philosophy, however I think we are strongest at the trenches, even with losing Levitre. I like carrington Williams, Williams and Dareus on the Dline and with exception to LG I'm okay with the oline. I like the Jarvis pick if he clears medically. This team has a void at the skill positions. That being said, I think Patterson is a mistake at 8. I think the most logical move is QB.
  12. I'm thinking QB in rd 1 and a WR in round 2 plus a free agent. That would give us 5 WR plus any UDFA we bring in.
  13. I've been coming to TBD for about 13 years now and I have to say that I don't remember it getting this bad around here. Even when we were 3-13 people weren't jumping off the proverbial bridge at the rate they are now. Maybe this playoff drought is wearing on people, I don't know
  14. Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't we required to spend 90% of our cap this year?
  15. Yeah lets trade one of the few playmakers we have, someone that seems to love playing for the Bills, seems to love Buffalo and took a hometown discount to stay here. As far as picking a tackle, well I just don't know. Our oline may be a little weaker now that Levitre is gone but I still believe that we are strongest in the trenches.
  16. How has this not been bumped, I guess free agency has us a little preoccupied? I think last weeks episode was pretty good and set up the next few weeks in fine fasion. That's 2 weeks in a row I've been impressed with the Walking Dead. I was really starting to lose interest.
  17. So you want the Bills to get lucky twice? In a row? In the draft? We're talking about The BUFFALO Bills right?
  18. Oh my freaking God, will you people stop? Maybe Levitre didn't want to resign with a team that hasn't been to the playoffs in 13 years. Maybe to play here he wanted 9+ a year and if Nix wasn't willing to pay that then good for him. Neither you or I know the circumstances.
